Ca fait seulement 2 mois et demi et j'ai déjà des problèmes avec le projecteurs. 50 % du temps, la moitié de l'image est ne fonctionne pas, parfois a gauche, parfois a droite, UNE VRAIE JOKE...en plus, il n'y a aucun service au Canada. je dois faire affaire avec les USA...service tres mauvais jusqu'à maintenant. Je ne recommande pas l'achat. Avoir su, j'aurais choisi une autre marque et non Optoma.

The only minor issues I have with it are that it is noisier than the projector I'm upgrading from (a PT-AE2000U), and doesn't have the kind of placement flexibility and zoom that my previous projector did. But at this price level, I think this really is a very nice, affordable projector that allows you to truly appreciate 4k content in a way that you simply can't with smaller tv screens. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Just got my Optoma UHD50, and I'm loving it so far. I have mine ceiling-mounted 10' away from my screen. Content at 3840x2160 looks amazing, I love the vibrant colours and the level of detail. I haven't seen other 4k projectors (0.66 TI DMD or native) in person to compare this level of detail against, but due to the larger screen size I can definitely see details that I simply can't with my puny 4k tv. There's an almost magical quality when watching 4K wildlife videos or movie trailers, definitely a noticeable difference from 1080p at this size. Brightness is good even in ambient light. Built-in speakers are nice to have, and are pretty loud, but won't replace a dedicated sound setup. Haven't tried 3D yet, will need to get some DLP Link glasses for that. There is a light border (which I believe affects all projectors using this 0.47 TI DMD), but it's not something I really notice during use. Pierde la señal de forma aleatoria sin importar si escoges 4k a 30hz o 60hz así como a resolución 1080 y no regresa hasta que lo reinicias lo cual toma al menos dos minutos para encontrarte con el mismo problema.
Algunas veces no prendía e indicaba que necesita cambio de lámpara.
Nota: use el cable hdmi incluido así como uno especial de alta velocidad e incluso uno de fibra óptica. Para ver si esto remediaba el problema. En verdad quería que me gustará este proyector y trate de eliminar errores porque se ve hermoso el hdr 4k.
Sin embargo encontré en reseñas que algunas de estas unidades tiene problemas por lo que pedí mi reembolso y le daré una oportunidad a benq con el ht2050a. Adiós 4k por ahora.
Amazon me regreso el dinero en 10 días. En verdad este proyector se ve hermoso. Si no eres tan desesperado como yo y puedes esperar un mes por si sale mal te lo recomiendo ciegamente.

My first 4k projector and I will say it is very very nice. Primary function is gaming and movies and with the ps4 pro and xbox one x it looks amazing. I do have an LG OLED which by far is superior in picture quality, but the sheer spectacle of the projection set up is hard to resist. I find myself favoring it more often than not especially when playing God Of War and Horizon Zero Dawn which are deserving of the big screen. I have not had enough time to calibrate my projector that way I have the tv but out of the box it is very nice.Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2018
Pros:
Picture is clear, clean, and bright enough for a dark room environment. Color is very nice in both HDR and SDR, and the detail forthe image is fantastic.
Cons
Black levels are decent but not as good as you would get on a tv or higher end projector but still very serviceable. I got so used to the black levels on OLED that I found it off putting when black areas look grey at points. But aside from that it was a really easy adjustment due to its pure beauty overall.
I still have to tweak it and get it right where I want but overall it is definetly worth the price and I enjoy the picture it does present.
Note, the lines in the picture are due to creased screen which I have since replaced and is not representative of the projector performance itself.
