This tarot is very spiritual and deep. It is quite different, He gave a name to every cards, including all the minor Arcana. The cards interpretation is unusual in a good way and he give you the "solution" for you spiritual growth. The book in itself is important to have. For me it complete the information I have on tarot with other decks. The art is also very beautiful.

The quality of the card stock is a bit thin...but okay and the book is well made. The suits are like this : Earth or pentacles are = rainbow, Air or Sword are = Clouds, Fire or Wands (or rods) are = Fire... and Water or cups is ... water ;-)
And mister Osho added another major Arcana number "22", that as actually no number (not the zero) and it : The Master. So there are 79 cards.

One complain will be that its masculine spirituality energy of way at looking at life... doesn't resonate with me anymore
and the back of the cards is quite ordinary... so because of that it is not my favorite...

I've been collecting Tarot decks for a few years, and I must say that this one has exceeded all of my expectations!! Unlike most of my other decks, which were printed in China, the Osho Zen deck is made in Belgium. Wow, what a difference!!! They handle and shuffle beautifully, they feel clean and buttery to the touch (unlike some of the other decks that leave my hands feeling waxy after handling for any length of time), and the artwork is clear and beautiful. The imagery and card meanings do stray somewhat from the standard Rider-Waite system, but if you are into personal growth, Eastern wisdom, and Zen Master truisms, then you will fall in love with this deck. The companion book stands on its own as a good read. Its explanations for the suit names (fire, water, clouds, and rainbows) make perfect sense, especially if you've dabbled in Thoth a bit. The card descriptions and meanings themselves are quite wonderful, and many do align with the sentiment of cards in more traditional decks. The book also offers a few interesting spreads that I would like to try, but my deck only arrived just yesterday. If you're thinking of getting the Osho Zen Tarot, you will NOT be disappointed!!

The wisdom of Osho contained in this illuminating book and card set transcends the ego's need to look for outer validation, to worship others, and instead will bring you the wisdom to become and integrate the wisdom and enlightenment that the Enlightened or "Awakened" ones have sought to teach humanity.
Osho Zen Tarot teaches us to be fully ALIVE and to live with joy, to interact with others in compassion, to shed the ego's domain of fear that seeks to control all elements that exist outside of us, and to embrace our child-like wonder to experience life completely in the here and now.
The path to freedom is written simply, and the wisdom profoundly applicable once you are open to its teachings. Osho's own words in this breathtaking book states: "It is the capacity not to worship buddhas but to BECOME a buddha, not to follow others, but to develop the awareness within that brings a quality of light and love to all that we do."
I HIGHLY recommend this book not only for the reading you can do, but for the divine and illuminated wisdom it will bring to you so that you may live your life with the peace and joy you deserve.

So far I've got only two items created by Osho - The Book of Secrets, which I had to get because I am passionate about Shiva sutras, and the Zen Tarot deck, as I am a Tarot cards collector and when I read Osho's interpretations in either of these two works, it's not just like reading a book or tarot card interpretation, but rather like savoring honey drops of wisdom. Often I may ask a question, pull out a Zen Tarot card and find myself spontaneously contemplating the wisdom expressed in that card for days to come, not just intellectually, but feeling and experiencing it with my whole being. The experience is that of awe and sheer delight.

I have many beautiful Tarot decks and I tend to use different decks for different purposes, but this one is in a category of its own and I highly recommend it to those who are actively involved in their own spiritual unfoldment. Your soul will rejoice.

I should add here that while this deck contains 78 cards like any other tarot and the interpretations of the cards are in the spirit of the tarot, the imagery on the cards is very different and it is particularly suited for bringing out information most appropriate for one's spiritual unfoldment.

And the end of the enclosed booklet there are suggestions for several spreads, however I personally prefer to pull out only one card from this deck rather than doing spreads. I use other decks for spreads. With this deck, for me, it's more like each card is like having a "full meal", and gives me plenty to contemplate.

The Osho Zen Tarot is such an amazing tarot deck. I initially picked it for its beautiful artwork and positive energies, but this deck has become my very favourite to use because of the strong connection I have been able to establish with it. Of course it depends on the person and the deck, and how well they complement eachother, but based on the other reviews I've come to the conclusion that just about anyone can form a good connection with this deck. For me, and most likely other experienced Tarot readers, the connection was almost instantaneous and has continued to grow ever since. With all of the positive messages and bright imagery, it is such a pleasure to work with this deck.
