I bought this in place of buying the Stanley Quencher mug that everyone has. If you are looking for a more affordable option as opposed to the Stanley, then this is a great option. I love that you can put this in the dishwasher, but I only do that once a week to give it a deep clean/sanitize it. It keeps things cold or hot, forever. Just a note when using it for hot beverages. You may need to leave the top off to let the beverage cool down, or use a few ice cubes. The first time I used it for a hot beverage I didn't and two hours after making my tea, it was still as hot as when I first boiled the water and I burned my tongue. Lesson learned alright.
The only complaint I have is with the packaging, which may be more of an issue with Amazon than anything. It wasn't packed well and it was coming from across the border so not only the box was quite beaten up when I received it, but the bottom of the mug was dented as a result of both the poor packaging and the beating it took on the journey. You can't really see it that well in the picks, but the dent makes it so that the mug doesn't sit flat when you put it down on a surface and it's a bit wobbly as a result. I may try and get a replacement for it as a result.
The cup just fits in my cupholders so it is secure on a car ride.
