Things go wrong in the Wild West
It’s 1858 and two Texas Rangers enlist the help of the Kowtona tribe to join a small group of Rangers and militia to attack the Comanche on their Union sanctioned territory in Oklahoma. After a brutal first attack, it becomes clear the Comanche aren’t going anywhere and the Rangers are idiots to think otherwise.
The acceptance of Texas into the Union requires the disbanding of the Texas Rangers and the two officers are outraged that their great reward is to be stripped of their rank and titles. After falling in with two equally bitter militiamen, the two buddies drift into a bank robbery, which goes about as well as can be expected.
The two buddies are separated when one is thought dead and the other follows the gold. Lost in the desert, the wounded one is befriended by Comanche refugees, while the other returns to the scene of the crime. Things do not go according to plan.
