The Ozeri Delux is one of two I tried, the other was only 9$ and worked pretty well also, at least after I glued the stirring attachment permanently to the motor shaft .
The Ozeri attachments so far, fit tight, but the end came off my favorite one. It is the little propellor attachment, which really gets the liquids swirling to the bottom of the glass. That I fixed with some crazy glue. Other attachments have a long plastic piece that mates to the motor part and seem more stable and oscillate less because of flex in the shaft. Also, I'm not comfortable with the on/off speed switch on the top. While gripping the motor part it's hard to get a finger over the switch to turn it off without pulling it out of the medium and splashing liquids everywhere, but how much is valid critism when I only paid for ~25$. Not much really, and it is one of two frothers I found with a propeller style attachment. In summary I'd buy it, but keep the crasy glue handy.
- Sturdy handle: Seems well built.
- The base is nice, looks good on the kitchen and avoids the frother to be lying around all over the kitchen.
- Convenient: No cables, small size. Great when the amount to be mixed is just too small or inconvenient for a conventional mixer.
- Fast frothing/mixing.
- Diverse: Different attachments for different drinks not just frothing.
- No mess, easy to clean.
- Fairly inexpensive.
Cons:
- Battery will drain fairly fast. Since the mixing gets worse you need more time to mix which in turns drains even faster. When RPMs go down, the attachment will wobble affecting the frothing and mixing. The vibration will eventually make the attachment disconnect from the handle.
A simple solution though, just get rechargeable batteries.
- When frothing, the foam won't last long. Likely because it produces less and bigger bubbles. Can't really compare against frothing with vapor.
- There is no slot on the orifice connecting to the shaft and the shaft on the handle is smooth and round. With usage and thicker liquids I would suspect the shaft and the attachment will rotate at different speeds wearing the connection point down (it's plastic). As a matter of fact I had to replace one of the attachments after just using it for couple of weeks.
It will whip a small amount of whipping cream but its forte is just mixing. Takes 2 double A batteries, and they seem to last a decent length of time.
Check my other Ozeri product reviews ... and no, I haven't received any free products for reviews, etc. I have had great customer service from Ozeri!

my only gripe is that really hot liquids won't froth, but that is the limitation of the type of frother (vs. steam). the battery that initially comes with the frother doesnt last very long, so i put in a new battery and it seemed almost too powerful. all you have to do is push the frother into the bottom of the mug to slow it down (need a regular sized mug). this way you dont even have to work the froth, it comes out perfect.
i have tried this with different kinds of milk. it works great with cow's milk, soy milk and coconut milk, but not rice milk. must be related to fat content.
the paddle attachment (i call it this because it reminds me of a motor boat) works great to mix my protein drinks. i usually have a really hard time with this, and have even commented to the drink representative at whole foods regarding the grittiness, but now my drinks are very smoothe.
the eggbeater works well if you hold it at the surface of the eggs. doesn't work for large batches (more than 2 eggs), but when you look at the size you can tell why. it's smaller than your pinky finger.
are these extra attachments necessary? probably not if you don't need to mix anything other than your milky drink, but i am enjoying them, and i like the stand it comes with
PROS:
I LOVE that the attachments are separate and can be cleaned without risking water contact with the body. This makes clean up much easier and less damaging to the product. Each attachment is sturdy, holds up well, and provides a unique function. We great as the frothing attachment is, sometimes I need a small whisk and this is the perfect solution.
CONS:
The one complaint I have is that the button is on the top, and is a press button that clicks each time, rather than a slide/switch button on the side. The main reason this is an issue is that I have to start with the lowest speed and cycle through to the highest speed in order to turn off, which is not always a good thing (think splashing and ultra whisking). The other problem with this is that the button is on the battery cover and I have found that the cover comes loose rather easily, especially when compressed in order to press the start/stop button.
Overall, I would recommend this product. Despite the minor inconvenience of the top button/battery cover, it is a great solution for many different drinks and small baking projects that don't require a whole mixing bowl setup.
