The sound is very loud like the Galaxy Tab1 that we have. It goes at lightning speed to the internet, I saw some of the games download in minutes. There is an Open Office free app that can be installed. I don't use that, but it will work. The camera is the usual cheap kind it has only one. Still for me works perfectly fast to the net , emails, plays music it has 8 gb storage which is acceptable.
The only con I seen is that it doesn't have an icon to lower the volume on the screen. The thing that I like the most besides it performance is how sturdy it is it has metal on the sides and on the back is a tought plactic it is quite heavy I like that. I will be always very greatful that I can find items that I need or want at an affordable price even if it breaks tomorrow, (which I expect it will never happen) I still be happy and it will just send it to repair it looks like an Ipad and for my needs it works like one. Bottom line is a great product a very good tablet.
This model must have been an attempt to produce a cheaper version of the Le Pan II and still keep the good points. It fails at that. It is slower, the screen is poorer, and it is heavier.
This is called a Matsunichi M97 (designed by Le Pan).
CPU: The M97 has a TI dual core CPU running at 1.0 GHz - the Le Pan II has a Qualcomm dual core running at 1.2 GHz. The M97 scores 9,427 on the AnTuTu benchmark - the Le Pan II 11,116. These are both poor scores considering current tablets.
Screen: Both are 1024 x 768 4:3 aspect 9.7 inch screens. But the Le Pan II is a wide viewing angle IPS screen and the M97 is a TN type screen - in landscape mode, up and down off-angle viewing is good, but side to side viewing suffers when you are 20 to 30 degrees off-angle.
Weight: The M97 is heavier than the Le Pan II (1.63 lbs vs 1.5 lbs)
Both have GPS, Bluetooth, and a vibrator. Neither has HDMI out. Both have only a 2 MP front camera.
Only the Android version (4.1 vs 4.0) and the Bluetooth version (4.0 vs 2.1 +EDR) is newer on the M97.
But since both are older, they both will run Adobe Flash and Amazon Prime Instant Video Apps.
In spite of the poor CPU benchmarks, the M97 is a good game player - it downloaded and ran all of the games I threw at it. It just is a little slow and jerky on web pages.
Considering the Android version and the date of the firmware kernel, this device must have been produced over a year ago - I wonder where they have been?
But this tablet is well built, same size screen as a Apple IPad, and under $100. 9.7" or 10.1" tablets with better specs are more than twice this price.
Battery run times are short. Calibrated by "Battery +" with screen brightness about 70%, I got:
Music Playback = 16 hrs, 30 min.
Video Playback = 5 hrs, 30 min.
Internet Browsing= 5 hrs, 30 min.
Talk Time (VoIP) = 5 hrs, 56 min.
Reading = 8 hrs, 11 min.
Perfect for everyday use thank you. Looking to purchase one for my
It is all that the ad said it was and more. I would recomend this tablet for everyone
