Thank god for Michael Harris, his courage and his meticulous mellifluous prose! He was pretty much the only voice in the early days and I can only imagine the abuse he suffered. A hero for the 21st century. This is our Watergate and more.
Knowing that above-reproach honest luminaries like Farley Mowat, Sheila Fraser and even Speaker Peter Milliken see and testify to this travesty gives me hope for reclamation and a better future for the young. I sleep better knowing this book is out here. I defy traditional Conservatives now to turn away from Reformist monsters who have taken over their party and who justified their " steady hand on the tiller" nonsense. Their party will wear this forced ignorance forever. I can only wish they will take notice and redeem themselves and their country by changing direction. There is still time. But the young are stepping up, thank the heavens, and people like Brigitte de Pape will build themselves, and us all, a better country after all.
Great Book, Michael.
But hey, this is all just my opinion. Anyone agree?
