Doubted I could get 3600 speed on 128gb (4x32GB sticks) of ram on X570 but works fine (x570 MSI Tomahohawk with R9 3900).
Usually can be gotten for a good price.
Next time I will be more carefull and check the compatible list on the mother board manual.
But the ram is quiet good actually at 3200 and inexpensive compare the XPL Corsair 3200 but this one is compatible XMP

3600mhz sticks of that size even harder.
These are well priced for that capacity and speed, but I am not so sure of the quality.
I bought 2 lots of 2 x 32gb kits - so 128gb in total.
I built my new PC and it wouldn't boot. It kept saying memory error in the bios boot screen.
I then tried 1 stick at a time. It turned out one was completely dead, and another flakey. Thats 2 dodgy sticks in 4.
Never had that happen in 30 years.
I won't be buying these again. Fortunately Amazon support is top notch and I am returning the faulty kit for a full refund.
Riconoshiuto il profilo a 3600 MHz, senza problemi. Testata su ASUS B550 I.
Setup is Ryzen 5950X on MSI X570 Tomahawk.
- Installed the RAM. Booted up fine on default speeds (2666MHz)
- Turned on XMP Profile (3600 18-20-20-40) . Wouldn't post.
- Contacted Patriot Support.
- Confirmed CPU, BIOS version and correct RAM slots being used.
- Was advised to try some different timings, speeds and voltage and reply with results.
- Couldn't run stable anywhere close to 3600.
- Was then advised they were already aware of this problem ("Ryzen is currently having difficulties hitting 3600MHz on 32GB+. We are working with them to help resolve this issue"). Total BS as there are other 3600 64GB kits out there that run fine. Especially when there is zero mention anywhere on their website of this issue.
- Upon further research, I found this isn't an uncommon issue with this set of RAM (and other kits in general of lower size like the 4000+ ones).
- Was offered an RMA to swap sets to an identical kit (even though they admitted it won't work?) by sending the kit back, having it processed, and a new kit sent out. As this was my WFH PC, they wouldn't send me the replacement kit first so PC downtime was not a viable option.
- Was denied the option of a refund when I raised it with them.
- Raised it with Amazon and refund was issued.
- Purchased a Crucial 64GB 3600 kit (BL2K32G36C16U4B) : https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B083TSLC72
- Installed it. Activated XMP. No issues.
- Posted the Patriot RAM back to Amazon.
The support messages are in the attached image. Make of it what you will.
Pay a little bit more and get RAM that actually works at the advertised speeds.
Consider Patriot a budget tier brand.
Kudos to Amazon Support for being extremely smooth.
