Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students – the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game’s story – who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler – attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self” the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective masks and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need. Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.

Great, but too much dialogue.

Great game, great RPG. One of the annoying issues with this game is the sheer amount of dialogue. I find myself clicking past page after page of conversations and text messages, much of it lacking in any sort of interesting content. Some of the dialogue is literally just inane banter that goes on and on. The game also starts slow - 20 hrs in and on the third castle, it still seems like I'm in the beginning stages of the game, still unlocking areas and abilities that should have been made available earlier on. Even 20 hrs in I know I'm not yet even half way through the game, it has immense amounts of content so it is totally worth the price tag, and when you are past the dribbling dialogue and into the more action oriented components of the game, it is truly excellent. Lots of care and attention went into this product. Not a must buy, but if you are an RPG fan it is highly likely you will like this game.

The best Persona so far, and yet I loved Persona 3 Portable and FES. This one is just amazing. The characters are fun, relatable, and nobody is overly annoying, at least in my opinion. Unless you follow a walkthrough, it's pretty much impossible to complete the game fully in one game, so I went for New Game+ right after and still had a lot of fun. Very, very recommended to anyone who has a PS4.

This is a looooong game, there are definitely slow moments and the combat is not for everyone. The story can also get a little off the rails at certain points and they tend to really try and hold on certain things. However, if you can look past all of that this is genuinely the greatest game I have ever played. The story and the cast of characters is just brilliant. I have never fallen so in love with a cast of characters in a game before. This game is exploding with style, everything is so well designed. Even with all of its many faults the story, characters, and the style makes this a 10/10 game for me. Highly recommended.

Even if you're not a JRPG fan I recommend you check it out as it has something for everyone and its story + characters are so engaging that even if you don't like its extremely refined and streamlined JRPG gameplay, you will still have a great time with it

Be warned the first 1 to 2 hours of the game is slow and i mean very slow power through it and you won't regret it.

I was expecting to receive it a couple days after it came out, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in the afternoon on the day of release. It's a great game so far, it takes the unique style of turn-based gameplay that the Persona series is known for and adds a bunch of fun stealth elements alongside it. Think Persona 4 meets Sly Cooper. Dungeons are much more detailed than in previous games, instead of winding corridors that seem to be randomly generated, you'll be visiting a variety of handcrafted locations with obstacles befitting a group of phantom thieves. Social links, or "Confidants" as they're referred to in this iteration of the series, are also back, and have more use than before, as not only do relationships with certain people enhance the power of your personas, they'll also grant you powerful special abilities or an extra advantage in battle. I'm not that far in yet, but I'm loving every minute of it.

Great game. Dripping with style and polish. The combat is fun, the story is interesting, and the music is top tier. Just what I would expect from a Persona game.

Contrary to many other reviews, I do not find this to be better than Persona 4. P4 had more interesting characters, a better mystery, and better music. But P5 outdoes P4 in just about every other area. I still give the gold medal of the series to P4, but P5 is right up there.

Highly recommended for JRPG fans.

Antes que nada, si ya sabes de qué va Persona 5 COMPRALO! Ahorita está a $1,150 y es el mejor precio que he encontrado con envío gratis.
Ahora hablaré del producto fisico, al inicio dude porque no lo vendía Amazon (Aunque si lo mandaban ellos) pero debo decir que no hubo ningún problema con ello, el juego me llegó dos días después de haberlo comprado con envío gratis, así que como siempre ningún problema con el envío.
En cuanto al juego físico, llegó en perfectas condiciones, sellado y sin ningún golpe en la caja, no trae el típico librito o mini-guía/instructivo pero ya es muy raro hoy en dia, en lugar de ello trae una skin para tu control que esta bien hecha y se ve muy padre.
Y en cuanto al juego, no tengo mucho que decir, el mejor RPG del año y de los que se han hecho últimamente, llevo apenas 10hrs y no deja de sorprenderme.
