I did not buy Kaplan. I just used official Pearson practice tests to simulate testing situations and identify topics that I needed to review (reviewed with google, wikipedia, class notes, textbooks, dug up the old AP review books, etc.), this portable REA notecard book to drill when I had spare moments in my day, and Organic Chemistry I As a Second Language (David Klein) since I hadn't taken Organic Chem yet.
Go with the Kaplan study guides and the official PCAT practice tests, they are way more helpful and worth your money. Seeing the information in question format as it will be on the test is far more helpful than flashcards because you are studying not only the content, but also how to take the test.
This was good for the math topics though since the PCAT math section is like a flashcard.
If you need a refresher on certain topics, this may be a good choice, and perhaps you learn differently than me, I just know I never used it again after doing a couple sets of the flashcards.
