Excellent resource for pharmacy technicians. Each chapter is easy to
read and understand with definitions on important terms in the margins.
Beautiful illustrations and easy to read type.
Each chapter has its own quiz to help studying. Used this to help prepare me
for the pharmacy tech certification. Can't go wrong with this book.

HASH(0xa4eb20c0) out of 5 stars Money better invested elsewhere... March 19 2009
By PharmacyChick - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Having already worked in retail pharmacy for a while, I decided to add to my knowledge base and widen my career opportunities by going through the training for I.V. certification. I was very disappointed in this text book as it is full of contradictions and incorrect information. Your financial resources would be better invested elsewhere for more accurate training materials.

HASH(0xa4eb2390) out of 5 stars Poor reference Oct. 13 2009
By CPhT - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I was initially excited when this text was sent to me for review... I have taught Sterile Products for several years and never had a book for my students. Once I adopted it and started to use it, however, I noticed (as others here have) that there are many errors in the book. After using it for one quarter, I decided not to continue with it. There are spelling errors, incorrect diagrams, and misleading/incorrectly staged pictures. I would not recommend this book.

HASH(0xa4eb27c8) out of 5 stars Book has many flaws but overall is the most up-to-date reference available. April 8 2009
By DebKell - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I use this in teaching a sterile prep class for techs. The chapter end quizzes have mismatched answers in some cases--also found spelling errors in the main text--some of the info is not quite correct.

However, that being said--it is more up to date than any other text I have found to date that focuses in on this one specific area.

Received promptly with no flaws. Price was $10 cheaper than at the college bookstore. Score!!
