5.0 out of 5 stars I used the books to illustrate how you can think ... Oct. 11 2016

I used the books to illustrate how you can think outside box - or 'in' as the case may be - to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems. I showed one of the stories from the DVD at the beginning of the educational meeting and gave each person a purple crayon to take home to assist them in the future in creating their own adventures. It went over very well.

My son loves Harold and the Purple Crayon so we ordered this book and all the other Harold books for him as a Christmas gift. It is a nicely made little book.

My two year old enjoys Harold and I just love how imaginative Harold is. I hope the stories encourage my child to think big too. This story is not read in our house quite as often as the original Harold or Harold's Trip to the Sky.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shakespeare, MOVE OVER! Jan. 29 2014

Well, if you've been reading Hemingway or Keats or Stephen King or (arguably, the greatest author of all time, Dan Brown) stop wasting your time. THIS is profound! Seriously, bought it for my 3 and 5 year old nieces. You open the book, make up the words in between sips of a decent IPA, mention the purple crayon occasionally, and they're thrilled. Shipped fine. Came in good book condition.
