There are a lot of plants but not a single mushroom, which is fine. I would just like to see the uses of the plants more accessible rather than hidden in the notes section. Or at least put a bullet point for each individual note so you can easily scan through them. Other than that, this book is perfect!

I certainly wish there could be room for more photos of each plant at different stages of growth to allow for a better chance of identification. But alas, it is a thick guide as it is. You need this, and then can get other more specific guides like Samuel Thayer's excellent books on foraging or on trees or whatever your particular interest is, this is a nice broad reference to have on your shelf or in your backpack.
