The Plugable USB2-E100 Fast Ethernet adapter is a great way to add fast 10/100Mbps Ethernet to your computer via USB 2.0. This adapter is compact, portable, durable, and features wide compatibility using an ASIX AX88772 chipset. Two LEDs monitor power and link activity. Wired Ethernet via this adapter can provide fast and reliable streaming, networking, internet browsing and more.

Adding wired Ethernet support to compatible Windows, Linux and Chromebook computers via a simple USB adapter
Improving connectivity speed vs. computers currently connected over WiFi/802.11 wireless networks

Great product. I received it a day and half earlier than promised ! Installed in less than a minute of a Windows 8.1 pocket PC that was running on WiFi. I installed the drivers a couple of days earlier with the link provided in an email from Plugable. Now that's customer service !

After installation, the download speed doubled, to 95 Mbits/sec (9.5 MB), compared to Wifi 802.11n. If you want anything faster, you'll need to get Plugable's Gigabit USB to LAN adapter.

Excellent value overall. $20 well spent.

Used it on my Wii U, and it works flawlessly. I simply plugged it in and was set. By all accounts it works on the original Wii as well.

If you're a Wii U owner who's on the fence about shelling out 20 or so bucks for this product, I say go for it. The difference in speed between a wired and wireless connection on the Wii U is enormous, as the Wii U does not support the faster 5ghz wireless connections. It's also great to have around the house if you have a laptop that lacks a traditional ethernet port, and your wireless signal decides to get spotty.

Since the order is fulfilled by Amazon, the shipping is quite speedy, especially if you're a Prime member.

TLDR; it does what it sets out to do, is easy to use, and is worth the money.

I am Looking for 1 ethernet connector that would also allow for the charging of my old Samsung Tab 3 while connected to the ethernet. This Pluggable device is great but the battery of the tablet discharges / drains within in 1 hour.
Could I please be directed towards an appropriate ethernet connector also equipped with a charger so that it would allow for my tablet to be charged at same time while connected to the ethernet?

Smash Bros online played unbearably with the lag. This product works seamlessly.

My prebuilt PC has the luxury of having a 50$ network adapter to avoid the connectivity issues with my router being on the opposite ends of the house. Unfortunately for my Wii W ,with the confirmation of a html 5 speed test, it was having low,fluctuating speeds. I am now getting 7.5-9.5mb/s average compared to 2-4 from Wii U wifi. Unfortunately it looks like the wii u cant do over 10mb/s over wired.

I Plugged in the adapter to the Wii U, connected it to my pc via Ethernet and went into the control panel on my pc and enabled sharing on my wifi. Then go into the Wii U and set up the wired connection and you're done.
