I bought this for my husband who is a long distance trucker. We both love doing these puzzles together at home from our local newspaper. Since I found these, I knew he could enjoy doing them when he's away, especially when waiting for a load, etc...time passes faster when you have something to do you enjoy. Mrs. D.

HASH(0xa202f810) out of 5 stars Purchased as a gift for someone who LOVES Jumbles! March 2 2014

I purchased this as a gift for my mother who absolutely loves working the daily Jumble puzzle in a local newspaper. She really liked this version because they added the extra "BrainBusters" part to the usual puzzles. It's a small size book, hence the "pocket" in the name, but it fits perfectly into a purse to take along with you wherever you go. She uses it while she is waiting for appointments and such. Makes a great gift for someone who likes puzzles!
HASH(0xa202fa98) out of 5 stars Well constructed book, but super easy Jumbles Dec 23 2012

I was looking for a pocket sized Jumble book instead of the other megasized ones available. The book is well contructed with a rather feminine cover as you can see. However, the puzzles are extremely easy compared to the daily Jumble in the newspaper. A middle school student probably wouldn't have any trouble at all figuring out the Jumbles quickly. There is likely no challange for the average Jumble enthusiast.
HASH(0xa202fcfc) out of 5 stars Almost too easy Jan. 3 2013

There is a heading on each page that gives you a clue as to what all the jumbled words are...there are also pictures as clues. I had to fashion an index card that will cover each heading and all the pictures (I even blacked some of them out) so that I have to think in order to unscramble the words. Would be a good gift for a teenager. Probably wouldn't purchase it again simply because there are too many clues.
HASH(0xa2033048) out of 5 stars Not a True Jumble Oct. 22 2013

These jumbles lack the comics and/or puns that have traditionally accompanied the original Jumble puzzles. It is basically a bunch of unscramble puzzles with some clues.

Bought this for someone who really enjoys puzzles and they've had nothing but good things to say about this. Small enough to take anywhere which is a huge plus.
