HASH(0xa25fe3cc) out of 5 stars Good looking, but lacks functionality April 5 2013

As other reviewers noted, this is more of a generic cover, and it is not designed for the Dell Latitude specifically. The charger slot, the volume control and earphone jack are readily accessible with the provided cutouts, but the power button, HDMI, and USB slots on the sides are not. But the sides are soft leatherette, and it is very easy to create the cutouts you need with a razor blade and a bit of patience. However, the Windows 8 button and camera and speaker openings are covered with hard surfaces, and it would be almost impossible to modify the case to fit them. If that's a deal breaker for you, you'd be better off buying the specific case from Dell. But note: the Dell case is over 2 1/2 times the price of this case and it's plain, unattractive vinyl. This case looks good and feels good. The Dell Latitude fits securely in the case. The magnetic closure works well. It has pockets for business cards, micro-SD cards, and a holder for a stylus. I am happy with this case.

UPDATE: After a month of use, I found that the sides of the case loosed up or stretched enough that that Latitude 10 slides around too much and can easily get into positions where it was hard to use swipe gestures from the sides. Another problem is that the Poetic case covers the light sensor on the tablet, so the tablet display dims when you need it to be bright. Dell has been running a sale on the dedicated holder for the Latitude 10 so I bought it as well. It fits perfectly, and all the ports, camera and speaker openings are provided. It is not leather, or even leather-lookalike, but it is a much more functional case than the Poetic case. But there is no question, the Poetic case looks and feels much more upscale - too bad is isn't designed specifically for the Latitude 10.

HASH(0xa25fe5f4) out of 5 stars Great durable case for the money! Sept. 26 2012

I was looking for a case for my Dell Latitude ST. There are very limited accessories for this tablet in general, and it seems this is the only case that was specifically designed for the Latitude ST. The case is made of faux leather material which feels pretty good. The tablet fits in snuggly and it has a professional look. There are two magnets under the leather that hold the case closed. There are holes for all the ports, and you can even plug the power connector to the tablet when the case is closed.

The case can hold the tablet vertically like a laptop which is good for watching movies. You can also turn it upside down so that it raises the tablet at a comfortable angle for use on a table or desk. The case stands by sliding the front cover into a fold on the back cover. This works great, but can be a little cumbersome to set up. It is certainly not as easy as the cover for the iPad. This is the reason I don't give it 5 stars.

The front cover has slots for business cards, paper, and SD card slots. However, it seems that the stitching was done on the wrong end of the slot, so it's impossible to stick anything into it. It doesn't really bother me though, because I'd never put my SD cards in that anyways.

Overall, this is a really nice case for my Dell Latitude ST, and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who has this tablet.

I put my Latitude 10 in the case and immediately noticed flaws in the design of this case. The Windows key at the bottom is covered, the camera at the top is covered, the power key is covered and the sides are covered, which means any gesture done from the side is difficult. I also don't like how there is only one viewing angle when the stand is positioned - I wish there were more than one.

For the money it's a good buy. The case is sturdy and is put together well. But, the design is flawed. If you're just looking for a case to protect your tablet, sure it does the trick. However, there clearly is room for improvement.

Case fits well, would have given it 5 stars except it stands up a little too straight to be able to use the stylus.

It was the only case available for the Dell that I bought so I really didn't have much choice but to buy it.
I am not extremelly pleased with the case - it is ok done, it looks also ok, but nothing really special. It is not that flexible to keep the tablet standing and it adds extra weight and too much shape to already sturdy tablet.
I am not sure I am going to keep it, but for some reason I was unable to return it through the Amazon store.
