My husband and I read this book together every morning. He loves it because it helps him keep track of exactly where we are in our journey. I am an obstetrics and gynaecology resident and I still find some of the little hints and suggestions really useful. The pictures of baby at each developmental stage help me to keep my eye on the prize when I'm feeling a little less than "glowy". It's a little bit like a pregnancy advent calendar, only instead of chocolate, we get baby info. Maybe the next edition could include chocolate too? Mmmmm... chocolate. A great find!

This book is great for first time parents. It gave my husband and I something to read daily about our growing peanut, and it's Canadian which is nice. Completely recommend this!

I bought this book for my cousin-in-law when she was about 1 month pregnant. She and my cousin loved the book and were able to visually follow the growth of the baby day-by-day with helpful information tailored to Canadian parents. My cousin was not a book person, but he enjoyed looking at the pictures, which gave him a sense of involvement. Highly recommended. The couple plane on passing the book to me when I get pregnant--getting married next month, and we will go from there!

This book is fantastic and a total must have.
I liked most that it is non-alarmist. It doesn't tell you everything you need to be scared of everyday but is still full of great tips, facts and ideas.
It's Canadian too which is great when it comes to advice on planning your maternity leave (as we tend to take longer leaves then those south of us) and navigating our public health system.

Tons of useful information that is organized in a day-to-day fashion. You can see what is happening at each step of the way with the baby's development as well as changes to your own body. It deals with prenatal screening to the stages of labour/delivery and everything in between. Lots of great photos and illustrations.

I bough this for my wife and he's been reading it a lot, excited to read as much as she can and learning about what progress is happening inside of her. It has answers for many of the typical concerns you could come across. It's more reliable information than a typical google search, that's for sure.

This is a fantastic book. Very informative, lots of detail and pictures. Also, as an added bonus, this book is written by a Canadian doctor, which I personally found great since a lot of pregnancy books are based on the US medical system.
