HASH(0xa653a1bc) out of 5 stars Creative Ways to Get the Family Involved in Prepping Aug. 4 2013
By J. Robideau - Published on Amazon.com

This book doesn't contain any ground-breaking, new ideas that you won't find in other prepping/survival books, but it approaches the subject from a slightly different perspective. The goal of this book isn't to wow you with new preps that you may have missed, it is to help you get the entire family involved in prepping.

Many preppers will attest to the fact that it can be difficult to get your family to join in and care about prepping. This book offers up activities for you to do with the family that will allow them to have fun as they learn and prepare for a disaster situation.

From a bus route scavenger hunt that teaches map reading and navigation to paintball games, gardening as a family, and camping out this book will offer you an assortment of ways to get your whole family involved in the prepping process.

Unfortunately, the kindle formatting on this book is not great. On my Gen4 Kindle Reader, the text is much smaller than every other book I have and there is a lot of space between each paragraph.

I picked this book up while it was free, so I can't comment on price, but it was definitely worth the time that it took to read it. Recommended!

If you want another book with some more specific advice on making sure you have the lightest and most efficient BOB possible, I recommend Ultralight Survival: Make a Small and Light Bug Out Bag That Could Save Your Life.

I thought this was a great little ebook! It was quick and easy to read but packed full of concrete advice on how to involve the whole family in Emergency Preparation. I already knew a lot about prepping, but this book did have some ideas I hadn't considered before. It had GREAT advice on how to handle prepping with kids in a way that empowers them without scaring them to death. I got lots of great ideas from this book that I have put into use with my kids. This was well worth the money!!!

I was really expecting it to be a lot more intense about how to get my family ready and it left me feeling like I was still out here on my own with no help from the other side.
