Volume 4 is finally here, and it lived up to all my expectations and thens ome. All episodes onthis disc are very exciting, emotional, and still even funny at times. It's just the perfect mix of everything, and all the characters come full circle in their development. If you've seen the other volumes of Pretear, getting this DVD is a no brainer. If you haven't what the heck are you still waiting for?! Just becuase this isn't a very popular anime doesn't mean it's not great!
The extras on the DVD are pretty much the same as the previous versions. Behind the Anime interviews with english voice actors, which we all know by now is pretty lame. In addition the clean opening and clean ending are here, as well as japanese cd and dvd spots. The quality of the picture and sound on all the DVDs in this series were very high and worth the money for just a few episodes on each disc. Don't miss out on a series lots of people are missing out on.

This disc contains a stunning end to a very sweet series. The art is consistantly good and the plot contains just enough sugar to satisfy. The extras are about in par with those on the other discs (that is to say, they aren't particularly fabulous)
the english subtitles occasionally overlap the action in the last episode as the translated song lyrics create quite a subtitle pile up, and most of the action is happening low on the screen anyway. The english dubbing is pretty good. The voice acting is consistant and believable (for the most part). I would definately reccomend the entire series.

Pretear Himeno Awayuki and the Leafe Knights are doing their best to defeat Takako, Princess of Disaster, and her demon hordes. However, Takako has transformed Mawata into the Puppet of Darkness, the power source for the Great Tree of Fenril, which will destroy the Earth! To prevent the apocalypse, Himeno and the Knights must rescue Mawata and stop the Princess of Disaster once and for all. Will Himeno's love for her family, friends and the Knights be enough to save the world? Or will the power of evil vanquish love? Don't miss the amazing final installment of Pretear!

well, i've just finished the the third volume of this series and and i've really enjoyed it. it has it's funny moments and it's sad moments and even a little bit of lovey dovey moments too, but if you're looking for action packed...sorry, the fighting scenes are few and far between and usually last all of about three seconds. so yeah. anyways i highly recommend pretear to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice clean very well executed series. can't wait to see how it ends.
