Format: Paperback
In typical fashion, Schurman demonstrates his in-depth knowledge of the product and takes the reader from start to finish of each technology included with LCS. If you're new to LCS, want to learn more on this unified communication technology, or simply want to know some secrets, this is a must-have book in your arsenal.

HASH(0xa3502be8) out of 5 stars Yves Zouzouambe, Software Architect July 12 2006

Format: Paperback
A very well written book by Joe Schurman that explains in plain language the architecture of Microsoft Live Communications Server, Joe also walks the reader through real life scenarios for the deployment and configuration of LCS within a corporate environment. Great attention is paid to security which is a big concern to most companies deploying this technology; I would strongly recommend this book to anyone remotely interested in Real Time Communication in general and in LCS in particular. Joe's writing style is full of humor and makes reading this book a piece of cake.
