Product Description

Have you always been interested in writing code and/or being a Programmer?

The Python programming language was created back in the late 1980s, and in contrast to other popular languages it provides a simple yet powerful syntax. It is used to develop software at organizations like Google, CERN, Yahoo, Industrial Light, Magic and many others. Great things can be accomplished with Python if you are an experienced programmer; however, the beauty of python lies in the fact that it is also accessible to beginners and gives them the freedom of tackling problems more quickly as compared to other, more complicated languages.

The most important features of python, including its ease of use, are that it is also powerful, object oriented, a glue language, it runs everywhere, and best of all, it is an Open Source Language, so it is free!

What You Will Discover Inside

  • What is Python?
  • Learning to program with Python
  • Python Features
  • Understanding Python Lingo
  • Everything you need to know about Python
  • Getting the most out of Python

Would You Like To Know More?

This book contains some everything you wanted to know about programming with the Python language. The question is, will you continue to be intimidated by programming languages you have tried or will you give Python, a simple yet powerful language, a try?

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for beginners and should be free to everyone else. Jan. 21 2015
By R. Smith - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This book appears to be written by a teenager and reviewed by his family. I applaud his knowledge, however communication is not his strong suit at this point. I'm an absolute beginner and this made zero sense to me. Again, I do applaud the author for committing to this task, but it is incomplete and poorly written with typos, etc. at one point, the book mentions to turn the page for another example, but I was on the last page. Please, whoever wrote this fix that issue before selling any more.

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a language reference like a million more you can ... Feb. 20 2015

Very basic. Looks like a language reference like a million more you can find on the web.
I thought it would cover something else than the elemental syntax.
To be fair, I've paid the right price: free.

Format: Kindle Edition
Overall pretty good book, but would like to see more explanation of how code worked. Good for additional understanding but not first text.
