This book is very interesting and different in style from other bios I have read. The author wrote in this book the first part of the life of Prokofiev and in doing so use materials which makes the man speak to us and present a portrait that is insightful and allows the reader to have a better understanding of who was Prokofiev and what made him tick. Really enjoyed it and I do sincerely hope that author David Nice will now write the second book giving us the latter part of Prokofiev life.
