The Protocol is a fantastic book. Action, twists and turns, non stop. It was the first I heard of J Robert Kennedy and I will continue rreading his James Acton Series. On Amazon Canada I tried to download his free offer for other books but was unabe to, but that won't stop me for buying more of his books since he is such a great writer.

I enjoyed the book, his first. But I found it somewhat jumpy. Not being originally familiar with the characters made it somewhat jumping around. This comment also applies to his 2nd book (The Brass Monkey), although his main characters don't enter until later in the book.
However I will continue to read in sequence his books.

This is a fairly well-written novel, with lots of action typical of a good "black ops" type book. That part of it was enjoyable, and I will read the second in the series based on the strength of that alone.

However, I really felt the author's talents were wasted on a silly, improbable premise. Too "sci-fi" for my tastes, I'm afraid. If the next one isn't any better in that regard, I'm going to give up on this author...or at least on this series.
