Product Description

BOOK ONE IN THE WHITE LIES DUET *Special release week sale for this full-sized book! Bonus: Includes a FREE novella during the first week of purchase!
Book one in the sexy and intense new White Lies duet by Lisa Renee Jones!

There are those moments in life that are provocative in their very existences, that embed in our minds forever, and sometimes our very souls. They change us, mold us, maybe even save us. But some are darker, dangerous. If we allow them to, they control us. Seduce us. Quite possibly even destroy us.

The moment I walked into Sonoma’s Reid Winter Winery and Vineyard and made eye contact with Faith Winter for the first time was one of those moments. Provocative because I know at least one of her secrets, of which, I suspect she has many. Provocative because she believes I was a stranger to her when we met, but I am not. Provocative because I sought her out, with no intention of touching her. But now I have. Now I want her. Now I have to have her. But that changes nothing. It doesn’t change why I came for her.

Book two: Shameless will be out on July 11th!

Nick and Faith. Their chemistry smoking hot. Sizzling. But don't let all the hotness fool you. This story is full of intrigue, suspense, enough to keep you reading, wanting to find out what secretes they are hiding.

It was only supposed to be a "hard limit" one time thing but neither can deny the attraction for each other. Faith the painter, Nick the lawyer. Why do their paths cross? Let's just say false pretences bring them together but there is nothing false about their instant connection.

Nick, as much as he comes across like a harda** lawyer there is this soft side you will fall in love with. He's on a mission to find out the truth about his dad's death and Faith could just hold the answers for him.

Faith, so true and determined but yet so lost at the same time. With Nick's encouragement she may just follow her dream.

Suspenseful. Yes. Intriguing. Yes. Wanting more. Yes.

Lisa Renee Jones is one of my all time favorite authors for romantic suspense. There is so much I love about her books. She blows my mind with her intricate plots full of suspense and secrets. They are always deeply intriguing with cleverly disguised landmines waiting to blow you away when you least expect it. Provocative is the first book in a duet, ends in a cliffhanger and leaves you with more questions than answers.

I'm also in awe of the way she brings her characters to life with so much complexity and depth. She is well known to me for taking secondary characters from her books and giving them their own story. Nick originally made an appearance in the Inside Out series (which I haven't finished yet) featuring Chris and Sara. If you haven't read it yet, you can still read this one as a standalone. There is enough information for you to piece together who they are, without giving anything away if you haven't read that series yet.

Nick (aka Tiger) and Faith's instant chemistry lights up the pages like fireworks amidst a deep, dark fog of secrets, half-truth and lies. Written in dual POV, it seems clear to me what secrets Nick keeps from Faith through his inner dialogue. However, Faith's secrets remain vague and elusive and at the end of the book, I still had no good idea what dark secret she is hiding. It's driving me insane that I have to wait until July to find out, but if I have to endure this kind of torture, Lisa Renee Jones' is the best kind. Call me crazy, but I can never get enough!

5 amazing stars

I fell in love with Lisa Renee Jones' novels when i started my first book... the next ones only affirmed just how much i really enjoy losing myself in her books. So when i found out that she was coming out with a new series, i had to get my hands on it and find out exactly what's to happen, and damn. I think i exploded at one time! Faith is still grieving and trying to process the death of her parents as well as taking care of the family business when Nick shows up. The last thing she expected was the chemistry and attraction that exists between them, but Nick knows this girl since they've met one night for an evening he can't forget. The girl he met and the woman he comes face to face with at the winery may look and smell the same, yet soon enough, Nick is going to find out that he didn't really know her even though he wants all her secrets...

4.5 sexy dreams

It's the kind of read that makes you want it all. To find out all the secrets. To see if you're right, if you can guess what's going to happen. Most of all, it's the story that will make you want to know the characters, to find out who they really are and if it's possible to keep apart when there's so much tension between them. I couldn't get enough and selfishly, i wanted the second part, like yesterday! If there's one thing that i can truly appreciate from Lisa Renee Jones, it's her ability to make you fall into her books and forget about the outside world until you come out for air. I, for one, can't wait to find out what's to happen to Nick and Faith and will absolutely look forward to reading the next part because i still have so many questions that need answering...
