Product Description

"Through the essays is an emphasis upon the dynamic interplay between allopathy and homeopathy, psyche and soma, inner and outer ecology which are resolved in the wisdom of the eternal tao. Above all else, Whitmont's life-affirming philosophy places these archetypal patterns in a historic context extending from medieval alchemists to molecular biologists and restores a sense of balance to the dynamic which is life itself."
- Kenneth R. Pelletier, Ph.D.

"Every page of this book questions our basic assumptions as to the nature of mind and matter, and challenges us to take a fresh look at old, familiar concepts. No serious student of homeopathy can afford to neglect thoughtful study of these writings."
- Mesimund Panos, M.D.

HASH(0x9c4d41f8) out of 5 stars Classic and unrivaled Jan. 8 2013

This book focuses on the parallels between homeopathic remedies, jungian archetypes and the underlying energy form patterns of the substances from which the remedies are derived. It is unparalleled, as no subsequent author has picked up the thread to give us these insights. It is of interest and significance for homeopaths, Jungians and the lay public. The prose is readable, but it would help the reader to recall that the author's native language was German, therefore what may seem to be run on sentences are simply the grammatical mindset of that language style.

HASH(0x9cc20e04) out of 5 stars attractive but not practical Jan. 18 2014

Although very beautifully worded I don't see any practicality as far as curing a mentally ill person with this or even a common cold.
