HASH(0x9eec309c) out of 5 stars Simply Great Songs June 22 2000
By Will O'Neill - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
The second half of the new single, is just as good as the first part, if not better. It is also, hopefully, an indication that Travis' next album will be as great as their first two. The a-side is as catchy as anything on Top 40 radio. I've only had it a day and I'm already singing along to it. The cover of The Band' song "The Weight" is simply awesome.

HASH(0x9eec30f0) out of 5 stars Pure Pop Delight Oct. 17 2000
By Paul Allaer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
While in the US we're just now getting "Turn/Why Does It Always Rain On Me" issued as a single, Travis fans in Europe were treated in June to this delightful CD of new Travis material. The lead-off track "Coming Around", a UK top 5 hit, is an upbeat 3 min. track, with an accoustic sound reminiscent of the Byrds/Tom Petty, the perfect singalong song for the summer that was about to start in Europe. Track 2, "Rock 'n (Salad) Roll" is a 2 min. romper that goes back to Travis' harder songs found on their inital album "Good Feeling". Track 3 is a cover of the Band's "The Weight", which Travis also played during the encore of its just concluded US tour. Clocking in at 10 min., this CD single is pure pop delight from start to finish. A must have for any Travis fan.
(Please note that I had trouble ordering this CD from the US Amazon site, but had immediate success ordering from the UK Amazon site, which worked out quite well, given the strong US dollar exchange rate!)
HASH(0x9eec3528) out of 5 stars Delightfully upbeat single Sept. 21 2000
By Graham Johnson - Published on Amazon.com

Coming Around, which reached No. 5 in the UK upon its release in June, is a delighful slice of ear candy, pleasantly upbeat in juxtaposition to the more sombre album The Man Who. It makes the single worth buying alone, but their spot-on cover of The Band's The Weight, a highlight of their concerts, is quite moving, and makes this CD2 a must-have for Travis fans.

HASH(0x9eec38e8) out of 5 stars Another amazing Travis song June 22 2001
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
On this 3-song CD, "Coming Around" is probably the only one worth listening to. But it's great...starts of with a sixties "Birds" like echoing guitar arpeggio and moves into an upbeat song that harmonizes Fran Healy's voice to excellent effect. By the third verse, you'll be singing along: "just tell me when its coming around...coming around..." This song is further evidence that Travis should be the heirs to the Britpop throne. The CD is a bit pricey for one good song, I know, but I'm pretty happy about the purchase.
