Product Description

Newly jobless and adrift, former investment banker Kerri Wilson travels to Virginia to see her best friend and regroup, only to run into billionaire playboy Ethan Lloyd. It's been years since she's snuck out of his bed after the most amazing sex of her life, and he's so not her type--she likes them tall, dark and manageable. But he's too hot to resist, and she succumbs to another sizzling, no-strings-attached (or so she thinks) night.

Unwilling to let her go this time, Ethan makes a simple proposition: a job, a place to stay, and an exclusive affair that will end when either of them finds someone else. But with her dark, painful past catching up to her, Kerri may have to bolt again--even though her heart is telling her to stay. And Ethan's not giving her up without fighting to make their "temporary" arrangement something far more permanent...

Review of Reunited in Love by Nadia Lee

4 out of 5 stars

Reunited in Love by Nadia Lee is about a beautiful and intelligent woman named Kerri Wilson, who shunned and neglected by her family. She was bounced around boarding schools while she was growing up and hardly had any contact with her family.

Feeling alone and unwanted, she throws herself into school and becomes a successful investment banker. She escapes to Hong Kong to avoid her family.

A major health scare causes Kerri to quit her job and travel to Virginia to visit her best friend Natalie. While there, she runs into Ethan, a sexy and successful businessman, whom she had a one night stand with many years ago.

Upon seeing each other again, sparks are reignited and they make a temporary arrangement to live and work together. During their time together, they realize that their feelings for each other are not temporary. Kerri does not believe she is worthy of love. Ethan however makes it his mission to prove her wrong.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The sex scenes were hot and the story line flowed perfectly. Ethan was definitely swoon worthy and Kerri was a strong woman who battled through an extremely tough life.

A definite recommendation to read.

HASH(0xa335e210) out of 5 stars AHQ: Nadia Lee’s Hearts on the Line Blog Tour Interview & Reviews 2 "5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!" Jan. 18 2014
By Deb Schwartz - Published on

Here I thought Vengeful in Love book #1 was wonderful. Reunited in Love book #2 was marvelous. I am totally hooked!

Ethan is enduring, loyal but what drew me to his character was his unwavering heart for those he cares for. Ms. Lee left no stone unturned with this character. Ethan is in need for help when he turns finds it in the most unlikely place.

Kerri now here is a heroine that threw me for a loop, she is different from the first book. Ms. Lee brought out her softer side. It broke my heart reading how she stumbled through life. I had tears now reliving the birthday scene. Kerri has secrets of her own, what will she do once they come out and her family catches wind of it?

Kerri and Ethan together are true magic. They both have their share of issues to work through within themselves and each other. Ms. Lee created this emotional powerhouse couple, brilliantly. They create sizzle and heat in and out of the bedroom. I laugh as I picture Ethan’s dopey grin. *smiles*

It was nice catching up with Natalie and Alex. I can’t wait for 2014 so I can get my hands on the next books in this series. I sure hope Ethan siblings grow up by then. The plot was engaging and able to hold my attention from cover to cover.

Nadia Lee is a perfect 10! Just as passionate, dynamic and stirring as her characters. Anyone’s reading library would be bare without the Hearts on the Line series by Nadia Lee.

* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

What’s a woman to do when she’s face to face with the best one night stand she’s ever had?

Seven years after sneaking out of a hotel room, Kerri Wilson is stunned when she’s met at the airport by none other than Ethan Loyd, the best one night stand she ever had. Kerri is there to spend time with her best friend Natalie, not Ethan. He could complicate her already complicated life because Kerri has secrets that no one can ever know and she can never remain in the same place for too long, which makes dating and falling in love difficult.

Ethan never forgot Kerri or their night together, in fact, after she disappeared he tried to find her but to no avail. Now that she’s in front of him again, he realizes it’s more than just infatuation affecting him. He wants to get to know Kerri, the real woman, not the fake one she presents to the world. He doesn’t count on her secrets coming between them or on her past coming back to haunt her.

Reunited in Love, the second book in author Nadia Lee’s Heart’s on the Line series was better than its predecessor. I didn’t think I would enjoy it more than Vengeful in Love but I did. I really do like the way Nadia Lee writes billionaire men. They’re not deranged, overbearing psychopaths, they’re regular men with regular problems who just happen to be filthy rich.

I enjoyed that Ethan and Kerri had a past connection, even if it was a one night stand but the best part was that they weren’t constantly rehashing or remembering it. They treated their reunion as if it were the first time, which allowed them to build a relationship based on more than just sex. Ethan’s way of winning Kerri over definitely won me over and that’s not easy to do! He was equal parts patience, persistence and empathy. He was observant and quickly caught on to Kerri’s emotions even if he didn’t always know the reason behind her quicksilver moods.

Kerri at first seemed like a woman who complicated things beyond measure just for the hell of it and I spent most of the story wondering What was so bad about her childhood that she has to keep running away? Turns out she has a good reason to keep moving. It was interesting to see how her background and Ethan's clash and eventually become entwined. Their dynamic slowly but surely changed and I loved how the subtle shift went from a "no strings" fling to a relaxed companionship to a full blown relationship without the verbal commitment.

Final Verdict: Reunited in Love gave me just the right amount of alpha male goodness, passion and drama to keep me entertained and interested in this billionaire story. Nadia Lee's way of telling a story ensured my continued interest in her books.

HASH(0xa2dd4498) out of 5 stars More than a one night stand April 11 2014
By RomanceLover Review Blog - Published on

Keri and Ethan had a one night stand 7 years ago. She snuck out of his bed and since then he could never find her. Until she returned to the US from Hong Kong where he ended up being assigned to pick her up from the airport by Alex, his best friend for his wife, Natalie, who happens to be Keri's best friend. While he is keeping her entertained, until their friends get back from their honeymoon, he offers her a job.

It was steamy in all the right points, the book focused on the plot rather then just using a simi-plot just to get to the next hot scene. I loved that. Those scenes just enhanced the story.

This book was very well written. I love the writing style, it flowed well.

I guess for me it was just a bit too predictable.I would have liked it a bit more if it had a major twist in it. Ethan was very very patient with her, when she kept evading answering his questions and leaving a lot of information about herself out of the equation. His solution seemed to just be more sex. Other than that it was a very good book. The characters were likable and for the most part real, the pacing was good, and the storyline was fluid.

This book had very well developed secondary characters and had the perfect amount of drama and romance to keep readers entertained!

Favorite Quotes:
"He turned around and the world seemed to go into slow motion. She noticed a small black earpiece, eyelashes whose length made her slightly jealous... and then a face that could cause a riot in a nunnery."
My Review:
I have found THE perfect man, so perfect in every way. Of course he isn't real, which makes him even more perfect, as nothing can ever happen to burst my love bubble. Oh Ethan - I feel in love with him rather quickly. He is rich, he is patient, he is kind, handsome, well built, can cook, dresses well, has his own jet, is thoughtful, employed, generous, oh so skilled, and has enough stamina to make a girl "scream his name five times" in one night. Where else could we find such a man but in the pages of a book!?! Ms. Lee has created another entertaining and well written offering that picks up when Vengeful in Love left off, but this time the story focuses on different characters that had small roles in Vengeful. I find that I really like this idea. The books can stand alone, and although they continue on with the first story, there are no nasty cliffhangers to annoy me. And did I mention they are steamy - oh yes! Velvety smooth, and very nicely done Ms. Lee. I am primed and ready to dive into the next one.

This book was okay. I read the first chapter at the end of Book 1 and it drew me in enough to buy it. I liked the characters for the most part, but Kerri started getting really annoying. I thought she waited way too long to explain her past to Ethan and it didn't really make sense to me why he was being so patient with her. Whenever he asked her why she was behaving in a weird way, she'd never give a straight answer and he seemed to think that having more sex with her would bind her to him. He gives her an ultimatum at one point that was truly stupid (the ultimatum itself and his reason for giving it), but otherwise he was okay. Stood up for her, cared about her, exactly what you want in a hero.

Definitely read the series in order; it can be standalone, but characters from the first book are prominent and background won't be explained enough if you start with this one. The writing was good, the characters believable, and the plot was mostly interesting (sometimes too far-fetched). Lots of sex, not much cursing (I don't care about that, but I know a lot of readers do). I'd recommend and I'd consider reading more by this author.
