Product Description

Product Description

Radiant Star has traditionally been one of the most recognizable quilt patterns and until now among the most difficult. Eleanor Burns has done it again with detailed, no-fail directions, making this star easy, fast, and most of all fun to put together. Inspiring photos of a variety of quilts show some of the many colors and styles in which the Radiant Star can be made. The possibilities are endless. Updated methods and tools are used to create strikingly beautiful starbursts of intense color and diversity.

About the Author

Over thirty years ago Eleanor Burns introduced her first Quilt in a Day book, cultivating a quilt-making revolution. She presented her unique style, a diverse combination of cutting and sewing applications, creating new techniques altogether. Her concise, step-by-step directions were easy to grasp, allowing anyone to be successful at making a quilt. Eleanor Burns gave quilt makers techniques that compacted months into merely a day—a quilt in a day. Today, as she continues to passionately devote herself to nurturing and motivating thousands of want-to-be quilters with needed self-confidence, her name and techniques have become synonymous with quilt making. She has authored over one hundred quilting books and patterns.

You can't go wrong with Eleanor Burn's books. The Radiant Star is a beautifully written book by a lovely lady. Eleanor's directions are easy to understand. Photos show each technique "clearly". Radiant Star is an exquisite quilt, and so very impressive! Eleanor sells her fabric kit at [...]. It's all there. I didn't think I could do this quilt justice, but, but I did! I have more of Eleanor Burn's books than I care to admit! All EXCELLENT! She's the best quilt teacher out there hands down. You won't be disappointed in this publication. Eleanor's Books are the BEST! Love it!

Loved this book! I started making star quilts in a class and the book was a great resource. Actually explained instructions better than the teacher!
