How does it work? pretty simple.

1. Remote is typical slim card-like remote. Isn't RF based so its directional. Works just fine

2. Plug it in and go. Unfortunately, it doesnt retain the LAST settings you used so it resets back to HEAT + low kneading intensity and low air intensity. Kind of annoying when you have to keep setting it back every single time 15 or 30 min expires.

3. Kneading L/M/H levels just changes the speed , not intensity.

4. If you want more pressure for kneading, you adjust the AIR intensity. L/M/H. I find "Low" useless. M and H are where I find effective massage. For me, i'm a size 8 shoe mens, and i find L is useless while most of the times i'm in High mode and then i fallback to Med mode when it is getting a bit too intense.

This was my first time getting a foot massager and was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I had been experiencing varying degrees of discomfort in our feet and this came as a blessing. The device itself is quite attractive and has a modern design and runs of a power adapter. So, it is low on power consumption and does not pose risks of electric shocks. It is light weight and I can carry it easily to my Home-office and use it while I work.

I find the kneading motions are quite strong even at the lowest and having used it for 5 days I can already feel the benefit. I would suggest starting at the lowest settings for the first few days and once the feet are used to the machine and have overcome any sensitivity that comes using a foot massager try out the higher setting to determine where the optimum benefit is reached.

I find the air compression to be most effective at medium or high and the heat is also very comfortable. Even after the machine is running for 30 minutes the temperature is very bearable and has a soothing effect. I guess some people would prefer a higher temperature but, that would require a heavier element and higher power consumption. The kneading can be best felt by leaning back in a relaxed posture. The remote is most helpful and keeps you from having to bend and alter your relaxed posture each time you want to change a setting.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this massager and would definitely recommend it.

The shiatsu massage is your typical plastic knobs turning under your feet. They only turn in one direction. No option to change the direction. The pressure massage is good, but, the pressure between medium and hard is huge. Hard really really really squint at medium it’s not squeezing enough in my opinion. The heat function is great and the timer is spot on. I would recommend. It works as expected for the price.

My wife (women US size 7) and I (men US size 11.5) have been using this foot massager for about a week (everyday) and we are in love with this massager. Our recommendation to get the best experience with this foot massager is to get a feel for the knead movement pattern/intensity and adjust your feet to target the area of preference.

What I like:
- My daily job requires me to travel to various locations in the city and therefore, my feet feel sore when I come home; I sometimes go to get a foot massage (3 sessions is essentially the cost of this massager) but this provides a great relief at the comfort of my own home at my leisure.
- The air intensity goes from very soft to very intense at the highest setting which satisfies the varying needs of both my wife and myself.
- The massager looks high quality and heavy duty, but it is actually pretty light. I take this with me to different rooms in the house if I know I will be sitting for a while.
- There is a foot cover that is removable so I don't have to worry about others using the massager as it is easy to clean.
- The remote is more convenient than I thought it would be; especially when you are sitting at a desk and it is difficult to reach the controls on the device.

What I think needs improvement:
- The heat takes some time to warm up (10-15 minutes); therefore it could be faster. But I usually use this massager for over 30 minutes since I am always infront of the computer so its really not a deal breaker for me.
- Some people complained that it is really loud but I don't find it unreasonable. The sound comes from the air compression/pressure feature.

Our verdict: Highly recommended! We will probably pair this with a leg/calf compressor to get the ultimate experience.
