Like a lot of people, I was blown away when OK Computer came out. Here was a band that was really taking rock to new places, throwing commercial caution to the winds like few others before.
Then at some point in my life, and for reasons I can't even begin to understand, I almost stopped buying or indeed listening to new music, content with my existing library.
Fast forward 12 years later. I heard of Radiohead again because of the social, environmental and animal rights work that they do, and I kept telling my wife I should be getting more of their music. She got me King of Limbs on the day it was released. I was in for a shock. Was this the same band? Puzzled, but still loving what I heard, I got In Rainbows... and was blown away again.
I just had to bridge that 10 year gap and understand how the band could have shifted so radically, so I looked for their other albums... and found this set.
For me this is the perfect box, since the only album I already owned is OK Computer. The set is only a fraction of the price of the individual albums, and finally gives me the complete picture- if there can be any such thing about one of the most thought-provoking bands of the last 2 decades.
Besides the studio albums, the live recordings is a great bonus. The paper packaging is amazing too and makes the set a great collector's choice.

I won't review the individual albums here as pretty much everything has been said already. This is definitely a must-own, exhilarating listening experience from on of the greatest bands of our time.

This box set is a fantastic deal! The first six Radiohead studio albums, plus the live album, "I Might Be Wrong", are all included here. Each CD is in a top-notch jacket and contain the CD's booklet. This box set is particularly useful for those who might be just discovering Radiohead's music (even though their first CD was released over 20 years ago). But even if you have one or two of Radiohead's earlier CDs (OK Computer, Kid A, and The Bends are standouts) this box set will be a wonderful addition to your music collection. All seven of the CD jackets fit into a classy white box; ideal for display purposes while still protecting your discs. Happy listening!

iN RAINBOWS is currently my favorite cd. I wanted to purchase other Radiohead releases. Especially noting that much of their past material is highly rated. Also, for a band having only 7 studio albums, and yet be in the top 100 best bands of all time according to Rolling Stone magazine (at # 73 ) is quite amazing.
Well, all of Radiohead's past studio releases, and including I Might Be Wrong:Live Recordings - added up to well over 100.00 without tax if bought individually. So this is a steal. And, currently this box set is listed at 71.99 US on Amazon.com. This really is a best buy!!!!!

This box set is PERFECT for anyone who likes Radiohead but does not own any of their albums. You get all the albums here (not EPs) from Pablo Honey right up until Hail to the Thief. The live one is also included. For the Radiohead fans that already have all the work included here, I understand the low ratings.
