HASH(0x9d98bc90) out of 5 stars Sweet And Funny......Pure Romance,,,, March 14 2016
By Robin Lee - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This short novella made me think back to the days I would run to my Five & Dime Store looking for the new, monthly Harlequin Releases.......I remember that's when I was first introduced to Debbie Macomber..........This was a sweet and funny contemporary, romance between a business woman with a plan and a handsome , nosy, next door neighbor.......The is a rerelease form 1990 but for me it was one I never read before and bought back teen memories of the old days of paperback novels........Great depiction of women finally being able to rise up in the ranks of a major corporation and not just being secretaries anymore......That's when things started to change back then........With all these books it was sweet, "Rainy Day Kisses" and a happy ever after ending..........

Susannah Simmons knows nothing about babysitting little ones.....But when her sister, Emily is in a jam she has no one left to ask buy her.....So, now Susannah is watching a her baby niece, Michele for the weekend and is absolutely clueless.......In steps, nosy neighbor, Nate Townsend who knows more about babies then she does........The next thing you know sparks are flying between the two that are undeniable........But Susannah has a problem, Nate is a handsome , laid back guy with no job.......He doesn't seem to understand her responsibilities and the hours she puts into working towards her promotion.......So, after a few hot kisses, she decides to ignore him hoping he will go away....She convinces herself that he is no the man for her................But how long will that last.........

HASH(0x9dcaaf48) out of 5 stars Rainy Day Kisses March 19 2016

I really enjoyed reading Rainy Day Kisses. I got the book on Mon. Mar 14th and finished the following night. This also one of her books that I had trouble putting down. The other one were A Guide to Moving On and Dashing through the Snow. I have no complaints about her stories, the series one and the novels. I just wish that some of her early books will be available on Kindle. As soon as they do I will probably buy them.

I love all of Debbie Macomber books. I have read this one twice. A very good read for anyone. Her books all make you feel good. She is my favorite author. I will always read her books before I read anything else.

HASH(0x9d991504) out of 5 stars A very enjoyable read June 23 2013
By Cloggie Downunder - Published on Amazon.com
Rainy Day Kisses is the 41st stand-alone romance novel by popular American author, Debbie Macomber. Susannah Simmons is a sound, logical, dedicated business woman with a plan to advance in her career and not the slightest hankering after marriage or children. As a favour to her very domestic sister, she agrees to babysit in an emergency, but while she is trying, unsuccessfully, to stop her baby niece from crying, her new neighbour, Nate Townsend knocks on her door and takes over. Nate is attractive and obviously interested in Susannah, but he's all wrong for her. He doesn't even have a job! Macomber gives the reader a couple of appealing characters and an original plot. Everytime I thought I knew where this was going, I was surprised. A very enjoyable read.
