When I was about 14 I was a huge fan of both of the Winter brothers, but especially Johnny. I've probably seen him live five or six times since then, owned most of his earlier albums, and followed his career off and on. So, when this book showed up I was really interested. I couldn't put the thing down for the few days it took me to read the 300 plus pages. If you are a fan, this is really worth the effort.

Very nice pictures of Johnny and friends, the content let you to know who is Johnny Winter. As a musician myself I would have like to learn more on Johnny's guitar and equipment that he used. But overall, very interesting to read about Johnny personal life.

Endorsed by Johnny, this is a really interesting, well written account of Johnny's life. Keeps you eager to turn the pages. I also enjoyed the info on Janis Joplin and Muddy Waters.

This most be one of the most honest biography around. It is not always a pretty picture making it raw and real just like the subject. Great and easy read.
