I've used cheap $30-$40 headphones my entire life. This is my first more expensive pair and I LOVE them. Great sound quality, the mic is solid, and the passive noise cancellation is really good. I just need to get used to it because I talk a lot louder than I need to when on Discord.
They're super comfortable, surprisingly light enough to wear them for hours and still feel comfortable. Build quality feels sturdy with a little heft, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable, whatsoever. I really like that the volume wheel has a small click when reaching the midpoint, so you don't have to guess. Really nice touch.
I was to able to plug and play immediately. Once I plugged it into my computer I was prompted to download some Razer software, which was super easy to setup and took a few minutes to learn. One thing I don't fully get the purpose of is THX Spatial Audio. It sounds noticeably worse than when it's off, but maybe I don't fully get the purpose yet. I'll update this review if I get it to work properly, but for now, I keep it off.
In terms of product quality, it feels like a high-quality pair of headphones. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I absolutely love how these feel and sound. The ear cushions don't trap sweat or heat and honestly just feel great after long gaming sessions.
The Synapse app has a lot of options, an equalizer, and various presets like Movie, Game, and Music. Just the Default preset is great already. Music sounds really good, when consuming media like Youtube videos, or Netflix, the headphones sound great and I can't complain.
Overall these are quite amazing headphones. I highly recommend getting them if you have something higher quality than the typical "budget headphones." It's definitely worth the price. Definitely a great buy. Hope it can last me a year or two, AT LEAST.

Great budget headphones
I have been researching the best gaming headset that also doubles as meeting headphones. Razer Blackshark V2 was one of the top choices from many websites and YouTube videos. I was going to get the V2 X due to price but waited long enough to catch the upgrade version on sale.My previous headphone were having major issues with the mic and the leather was peeling off the pads. The USB sound card on the Razer is programmable and no static is heard in meetings. My son says it is great for his online gaming. The over ear cups are a bit small for my ears but it is so light it doesn't cause any discomfort after wearing all day. The material is very breathable and soft. It is noise cancelling so I love just wearing it with no music just to concentrate while working.

The only con I can think of is the lack of a chat mixer knob, but I don’t think its enough to deduct a Star.

2019 Polk Striker Zx It had ok Sound but the mic was terrible. And over time headset became painful to wear. 2021 Next was, Runmus Gaming headset Mic was fine and headset was a bit heavy. But the 3.5 mm Jack got bent over time and stopped working. 2022 Next I tried, Turtle Beach Recon 70 Nice sound but mic wouldn’t work clearly and headset isn’t comfortable for long time use.
Now I have found a headset that has good clear sound, people can hear me. Headset itself is lighter than most I’ve tried. Very easy to wear over long periods of time.
Pro’s Sound, Headset Comfortable and Soft on the Ear’s, Large Clear Microphone, Soft Cord, Volume Control easy access and my favorite a 3.5mm Jack that is in a L shape connection. This keeps the Jack from bending and breaking. As seen in picture.
Con’s Mute Button small and in odd place. Would have liked it higher up on top of the earphone.
