HASH(0x9a984684) out of 5 stars don't waste your money Jan. 17 2012
By Judy wineinger - Published on
I spent hours and hours entering my passwords. It's a pain! Then, when you forget a password and need to go to the entry that you made have to scroll through the entire list to find your entry.
Unless I can't figure out how to get to an entry by entering it's first letter. I'd rather hide a sheet of paper with my passwords than use this device.

HASH(0x9a984a8c) out of 5 stars Not a toy, and NOT a good product March 1 2012
By MD_Swede - Published on
I don't understand why Amazon puts this in the "toy" category, because no child should have a need to store hundreds of passwords! However, based on the product description from a reputable catalog, I purchased this. Big mistake! I expected a much more sophisticated product. (Perhaps that's why it's in Amazon's "toy" category?) Although it does (sort-of) operate as advertised, it is very poorly designed.

The primary reason I'm returning mine is that I have many passwords with special characters in them, and this device only allows 4 different special characters. I have no intention of changing all my passwords to comply with the product's limitations.

Another aggravation is that one must go through a long, tedious process just to enter all the data. Then, in order to update just one password, one must scroll through potentially hundreds of passwords just to update one.

The idea of a password vault is a great one, but this product has a long way to go before being remotely useful. The manufacturer needs to go back to the drawing board.

I didnt consider this a toy. I also wasnt too pleased with it. No backspacing. If you make an error you have to start all over. Very time consuming and annoying. Would not recommend it.Sorry!

HASH(0x9a984c6c) out of 5 stars it works, but disappointed Dec 22 2011

i have to start off by saying that i wanted very badly to love this product, even just a lil bit would have been fine. the keypad is less responsive than i would have liked. i have very nimble fingers and found this device somewhat frustrating to use. it is also much thicker than i would like. i find it very impractical to carry around. i wanted an organizer that does not connect to a computer, but also one that is easy to use. maybe i would have liked this better if i did not have so many websites to enter already. between the tiresome entry of passwords and the thickness, it just did not live up to my expectations. sure it works, and does what it says, there is a ton of room for improvement in this device. i would have been happy to pay more for an organizer like this, if it were thinner and easier to use. and if this company were to redesign the product, and addressed those issues, i'd be willing to buy one.

summary, it works, but is lacking. this maybe a good product for some people out there, but not for me.

HASH(0x9a984fb4) out of 5 stars Worst product I've ever purchased June 1 2012
By B. Werbelow - Published on
This is ridiculous. Most passwords must contain letters & symbols. This item has no capability of using symbols.
It is very unfriendly. There is no backspace so if you make a mistake, you start all over.
It is extremely slow in entering everything. Every single character has to be punched multiple times to get to the correct letter.

All in all, it is totally useless.
