Recondite Channels is a fictional novel about the idea of reincarnation and how it relates to the lives of the three main characters in the story. It starts with Kyce Kolas, a bright and promising young student who suddenly finds herself entangled with an irreversible dilemma that will forever change her life’s path. Next is the story of Ethos Reem, a talented, business-savvy entrepreneur who suffers from a condition called gender dysphoria. The story takes place as she continues to transition towards her gender-reassignment process. Later, Ethos searches for her childhood friend, who has abruptly gone missing in a different country, called Loematoc. Finally, the story ends with a young mother named Rexene Barzan, left alone with her three young children and struggling to make ends meet in a town where all livelihood is lost, as a result of the political conflict brewing in a nearby region. With food being scarce at home, Rexene takes a chance and searches for her husband within unfamiliar territory—the arena of a war zone.
