3.0 out of 5 stars ADBA Review Oct. 5 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I will admit that I was skeptical at how the whole fairy tale + the modern world bit would work out. I'm not a fan of the re-telling of the classic fairy tales or you could say that I'm picky when it comes to the re-telling. However, for Little Red it worked. First off the chemistry between Ethan and Sam was interesting and real. It wasn't forced which is important to me when dealing with fast paced books. So, it surprised me at how much I enjoyed the characters, hence ultimately the book.
I liked that Sam was not a heroin that acted like a `pussy' in this book. She was not your ordinary heroin. Sam was tough, witty, and funny. Out of the entire book, SAM sold me. I felt like her character made the story interesting, keeping me on my toes. There was romance, comedy, and suspense. I'm interested to see what the author does with the other books in the series. She'll have a tough time topping the sassy, but charming Red.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not completely for me Sept. 13 2013
By What's Beyond Forks? - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I had a hard time connecting with the main characters. Red/Sam seemed weak to me. I know she's had it rough. VERY rough, and I get that she's going to be emotionally damaged as a result, but she seemed almost child like in her behaviors. I never saw any character growth with her. It was odd. Ethan seemed a little child like in some ways too, especially when it came to his anger. I enjoyed all of Ethan's brothers though! They make me want my own personal body guard wolf pack. I loved them. All in all, this story just wasn't for me. Little Red by Trista Jaszczak was provided to me by Bewitching Book Tours for review. The opinions are my own.

5.0 out of 5 stars Steamiest fairytale I've read! June 15 2014
By Chris - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
The modern, savvy way in which “Little Red” is written made me think at first that I was going to read a simple, realistic love story. The beginning, with its straight style and first person narration makes it very believable and matter-a-fact, but along the way it kept me wondering if the action was a fact of life or just a modern fairytale. When the “special” brothers with their “special” abilities entered the scene, the story seemed to move somewhere at the confluence with paranormal and my attention sharpened even more. It permanently had me speculating, making assumptions and kept me glued to the story to see what happens next. The shifting of characters’ point of view lets the reader know exactly how each of the main characters feels about the other. The visual descriptions are accurate and suggestive, creating vivid images with only a few sentences.
Unlike other books, this one was not predictable at all, except for the ending. A “happily ever after” is what I hoped for from the beginning and the author hasn’t failed me. A fairytale for adults, full of action, passion and interesting studies about instincts and psychology, “Little Red” is certainly an excellent read.

Loved this book! Some very steamy scenes but not over the top! I love the twist on the children's classic fairy tale. Makes me super excited to see what other books come in this series. You will walk away from this book loving all the characters. So much that you can't possibly pick your favorite! Trista has a bright future!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ethan June 29 2014

I loved this book and I can't wait for all Ethan's brothers to get their own story. Ethan I loved how possessive that boy is, "Ethan's eyes shift to the other men. "She's mine!" He growls, letting his eyes shift back to Aaron who had managed to tighten his grip on my arm." I loved Maggie, I'm wondering if her and Eli have a book? "I won't have any of you talking nasty in my house. You stop it. Just because Ethan isn't a man-who** like yourself is no reason to talk like that, Ian!" Ian immediately shuts his mouth. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take our lady guest to get some food in her stomach and a nice hot shower." Aaron I think his story I want next I loved his hardcore demeanor in the becoming, his protectiveness and his goofiness, "Aaron enters the room, arms filled with boxes of various colors, a few spilling to the ground. "I mean, effing seriously, how many different kids do they need?" He picks up the dropped boxes." (I know this quote doesn't make sense but once you read the book and this scene where it's at you'll see why I loved it and laughed at Aaron.) Next one please.
