Product Description

This book is for mature audiences. It contains explicit language and sexual content. 18+

He was on a collision course
… I had paved my way.
He answered to no one
… I respected authority.
He wanted me
… I despised him.
He didn’t take no for an answer
... NO!

When freelance photographer, Corinne Lee, is required to visually document the nationwide tour of Wild Nights Male Revue, she finds herself in a world of near-naked, testosterone-fuelled men on stage—not her photographic muses of choice. She also finds herself in the arms of Josh, the revue’s star performer.

Josh Adams thrives on the limelight, the stage and, most of all, the attention of women who endlessly throw themselves at him. He dances sex, speaks sex, breathes sex … is sex! Josh lives for sex, but never with the same woman.

When both opinionated and headstrong characters are closely thrust together in a lust-ridden and sexually-charged environment, which of the two will break first?
Will Josh realise that Corinne could be the exception to his ‘no strings’ rule? Or will Corinne let go of the fantasy of finding Mr One and Only?

I enjoyed Revue; it pulled me in almost immediately. I couldn't put the book down and read it in one sitting. Revue was a lot different than Golland's other books, so if you are a fan of her Temptation series be warned that this book is not "more of the same." But I think that's a good thing. More of the same would get tedious, and this shows that Golland has the talent to stretch as a writer.

Revue is not your typical romance. Josh is flawed, arrogant, a womanizer, and often a jerk. (With a job and body like his, of course he's arrogant.) Nevertheless, he has moments, like the one on the bridge, where he redeems himself. Cori's is strong but makes a huge mistake toward the end that I find difficult to forgive. Yet throughout the book it seems inevitable that they belong together. Their chemistry is undeniable. And while there are times that I was exasperated with both Josh and Cori, I found myself rooting for them to get together as it was bound to be explosive.

I enjoyed meeting some of the other secondary characters throughout the book and hope they will get their own books eventually.

K M Golland has upped her game with the Snarky Love/Hate Characters of Corri and Josh. With this book, you are swept up in the lives of the performers of the Wild Nights Revue, what is a male revue show? you may know already but to me they are known as Male Strippers, think Magic Mike - Get ready for your imagination to go on overdrive, as the descriptions of the performances unfold.

Corrine is a great main character, I loved her view on taking photographs (being an avid photographer myself) and I was just as devastated as she was when her beloved camera was smashed!

Josh - oh the boy you love to hate! I did hate him too... he's a foul mouthed man-whore who's crude attitude has Corri's blood boiling

"Want to ride my c%$# like this bitch just did?"

You would wonder why the hell she would let such a complete "tool" get to her, but her "vajayjay" and her "brain" are at odds on the subject.

Once Josh sees Corri and she turns him down (I just love the way she gets her revenge for him breaking her camera) I was like YES you tell him!

But when Josh sets his mind on something he doesn't give up.

Eventually Josh grew on me, I loved the swimming pool scene, and the 'Apple' wow I had one for lunch and I can now say I now view eating an apple in a totally new light!!!

The book is full of humour, but there are some angsty and somber moments, both Josh and Corri have been hurt in the past, the road to finding out if they can have a relationship is paved pot holes, which Josh unfortunately falls into, just when you think Josh is finally opening up to being in a real relationship, he slips back to his skanky ways.

Will Corri and Josh sort out their issues? well I hope you enjoy finding out as much as I did...

I liked the story. I think all the characters were interesting. A good storyline too.

A very mild spoiler ahead:

Ethel: I literally laughed out loud.

Ok, the only things I didn't like were the amount of slapping going on. That and the on again/off again was a little repetitive.

But overall a good story. I am interested to see what else the author has to offer

I wanted to smack Josh silly too... And in the end I wanted him to have a happy ending. I like the banter between him and Cori too. It was RUDE but made me laugh.

Would love to know if Em and Brad are going to get it on??

Was a quick smutty read. Nice change for me;)
