Caregivers have a tough row to hoe. Riding shotgun on the cancer coach, while preferable to sitting in the driver's seat, is no easy feat. This book will help you find a way through the bewildering world of breast cancer and its dramatic impact on wives, girlfriends, partners, sisters, mothers and anyone for whom you can and how it is possible to find beauty in the wreckage.

The book lacks a stronger structure and could have been a lot more vocal in its criticism of the greed of the medical profession and its lack of empathy.
In this gentle but probing self-examination, Don relates how he (and his wife Kate and their two boys) came to terms with Kate's battle with Cancer, and how they found their feet on the path forward in life. Don writes from the perspective of one partner caring for and supporting another. And the hard-won insights he relates have, to my mind, the potential to seriously ease the journey for others.
