HASH(0xa2524750) out of 5 stars Roadside History of Arizona Sept. 20 2005
By Betty J. Goble - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
We have two residences in AZ. One in Cochise County in the southeastern corner of the state and the other residence located in the White Mountains near the New Mexico border. When we have visitors from other states or when our children come back to their home county and state, it is wonderful to have this book as we travel around. Marshall Trimble makes each place interesting and turns little towns into jewels to cherish. I have a book at each residence and one in the car pocket.

HASH(0xa24d1654) out of 5 stars Great History Book for Arizona History Afficianados Jan. 20 2014

I have his 1980's edition which I like a lot as I Iove Arizona history. Marshall Trimble is a tremendous historian. This edition (2004 I believe) is newer, has a more old time photos, and has more pages. I hope Marshall Trimble has or will have a third edition since 2004 is now a decade ago.

Great format: as you're traveling Arizona, you can look up the history of the area you're visiting/passing through.

HASH(0xa2523870) out of 5 stars Interesting, informative and some uncommon knowlege of AZ in this book! Jan. 1 2015

This book was a Christmas gift to my father in Arizona. He found lots of interesting info in this book that he has not come across elsewhere. He was very happy to receive it because he can now share more historical information with members of his historical landmark club. I was reading the book before I sent it to Dad and I really enjoyed it.
