Felice's book "Rocky Spirit" is a classic example of what these movies can do for you. Beyond the boxing element, there are themes/lessons throughout the rocky story which could be applied to anyone and their personal journey. As for Felice's story, he manifests the themes/lessons to his personal story including hard work, determination, love, believing in yourself, positive energy, not accepting defeat. He explains the phenonmenom of the "Law of Attraction" and what it can do for you when postive thoughts create a positive reality. But above above all, the book makes you feel that undeniable fearless determination, and know that their is a higher spirit believing/guiding us through our journey.
For Felice Cantatore inspiration was found in the character Rocky and the movies that were created around him. In the book ROCKY SPIRIT we are able to see not just how the example of Rocky made a difference in Felice's life. It also gave him a new way of thinking about what was possible for him and how he could find happiness and real joy.
The great thing about what Felice has been able to do is that he hasn't kept what he has learned to himself. He shares it with the reader and encourages them to embrace their inner Rocky spirit when it comes to living their lives. When writing about a speech that Stallone gave during the taping of ROCKY BALBOA he writes this: "...Age is just a number. It has no capability to prevent you from achieving your dreams. As long as your mind can focus on a goal, you can accomplish anything---a sentiment I share with him...The movie was meant to show the world that anything is possible, both in the arts and in the spirit of real life."
What a great message for people who might have felt counted out or doubted. Felice shows that if you work hard and don't give up victory is sure to be yours.
