"I Love You but I'm Lost
on November 20, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
The musical genius of Roland Orzabal is on full display with the gorgeous and shimmering, "I Love You but I'm Lost," a song that reminds us of how great Tears for Fears is while simultaneously whetting out appetites this is a hint of new material just waiting around the corner. The band's music is timeless and this new collection serves them well.

A nice mix for those who forgot, those new to TFF, or those awaiting the new album.
on November 14, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
While there are probably more comps in their catalog now than studio albums, judging this disc on its own merits I say it is very well done. It has all of the big hits, and is certainly dominated by the 80's peak of the band. With 5 Songs from the Big Chair tracks, it might seem like overkill, but they are all classics and at least one is a different mix (the US single mix of Mothers Talk). I find the album sequenced well, and while it gives short attention to the more recent albums, I think that is fine, because the tracks from each are great selections, making it more enticing to go pick those up, too. (Elemental, in particular is great, btw, beyond "Break it Down Again.") And I like the two new tracks. They really sound different for them, but they also fit very well. I think this is a fine way to re-promote the band heading into new LP for 2018. (Personally, I've never liked "Advice for the Young at heart" so that would be my only personal disagreement here.)

Keeping Up With The Old And Loving The New
on November 13, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
What's great about this album from Tears For Fears "Rule The World- The Greatest Hits" is we get two new and very different songs and the classics we know and love. As musicians Tears for Fears challenge themselves and experiment with new sounds. I have this album on heavy rotation trying to learn the new songs and feeling myself singing the hits of the past.

Too bad that TFF has stayed quite for so long
on November 15, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
I would have given the album 5 stars if it would have been all original songs. Too bad that TFF has stayed quite for so long. Regarding the two new songs, they are wonderful and are very original. True that they don't sound like any of their previous music but then again just like TFF my taste is not the same as in the 80s. The first time that I listened to them, they were a bit disappointing. The second time around they sounded better since I listened to them as if they were from a new group. By the third time, I found their beauty. We have all matured!!

JUST ANOTHER GREATEST HITS ALBUM
on December 2, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CDVerified Purchase
This is another Greatest Hits album with two (2) new songs added. I'm crazy for this band so I bought it anyhow to add to my collection of Tears For Fears greatest hits albums. Nothing unique or of any real effort put out by the band.
