For starters, I have used Sabrent many times before and have had zero problems. So could have just been the one device. Received the hub, plugged into power and USB3.0 port and found that no power is getting to hub. Tried 3 different power outlets with the same result. Returned device 1 hour after receiving it.

EDIT: I tried a different brand and returned it immediately. It was not worth the money. Puchased another one of these hubs. It came in and works perfectly. Seems that the power supply on the first one was bad so it probably just slipped past QA.

The only fault is the way the LEDs are used to indicate when a port is turned on. These are impossible to see if you are looking from an angle. That said, the switches are very handy for turning off drives instead of having to unplug them and leave the cord lying around.

If you have poor hearing this will not affect you. but for me I can hear a high pitch buzz with every switch turned on. The more switches turned on the loud the buzz becomes. It is high frequency so not everyone will hear it I'd assume. Aside from that it works well but a bit expensive for what it is. I found the acasis brand to be 20$ cheaper (as there was a sale), and it doesn't buzz.

J'ai testé de nombreux produits pour connecter 10 périphériques USB très consommateurs sur mon MAC. J'ai de nombreux disque et mixeurs Audio qui demandent 500 mA, la plupart des Hub sollicitent l'alimentation du port du MAC et donc n'arrivent pas à tout alimenter correctement même avec une alimentation externe.

Ce hub est le seul que j'ai trouvé qui fonctionne vraiment avec tous les ports en même temps. L'alimentation externe de 5A peut alimenter n'importe lequel des 10 ports en même temps au max de la norme (500 mA), contrairement à certain autres Hub qui ont une alimentation pour alimenter quelques ports dit "de charge" jusqu'à 2A mais qui n'arrivent pas à maintenir l'ensemble des ports USB 3 à 0.5A. Sur ce hub la répartition de l'alimentation sur tous les ports en fonction du besoin est juste excellente et sans problème.

J'ai testé avec des périphériques USB 3 et 2 mélangés, compatibilité parfaite avec performances maximum.
Le bouton pour désactiver chaque port individuellement est très pratique pour ne pas avoir à débrancher un périphérique non utilisé (sauvegarde d'énergie).

Connections très stable, enfin un Hub qui résout les déconnexions intempestives des disques lors d'un transfert par manque de courant que j'ai eu avec de nombreux autres hubs pourtant avec une alimentation externe.

Note : Les LEDS ne sont pas trop fortes mais largement visibles par le dessus. C'est très bien car avoir sur le bureau des LEDS trop puissantes allumées en permanence c'est vite désagréable. En plus le bouton de chaque port n'est pas tactile mais un vrai poussoir, donc on peut sentir facilement avec le doigt s'il est enfoncé ou non. Attention en revanche à ne pas toucher un autre bouton lors de l'extraction d'un périphérique.
