Navy SEAL Luke Paulsen, on the verge of PTSD stemming from the death of his fiancée and a brutal tour overseas, knows he is damaged goods and unsuitable for relationships. While paying respects to a fallen comrade, he is unprepared for the chemical attraction he feels for the carefree dark-haired beauty playing in the surf one evening.

Julie Christensen befriends the troubled SEAL, motivated by her yearning to soothe the young man’s troubled soul. Fueled by intense mutual desire, they succumb to one night of mind-numbing passion. Afterwards, he is unable to shed the memory of his lost love and disappears.

When they meet again at a wedding that will forever bring their two families together, their passion and longing for one another forces them to confront their pasts in order to find a future together.
But soon the trauma of his service separates them. Julie goes back to teaching and Luke deploys for North Africa with SEAL Team 3. Upon his return, he receives a frantic call that Julie's life is in danger. Will he make it in time to save the woman he now knows he wants to marry and spend the rest of his life with?

HASH(0xa1d3e72c) out of 5 stars Destiny SEALed June 1 2014

I knew this was going to be good after reading the novella from SEALed with a Kiss Box Set.

Every time i read one of Sharon Hamilton's SEALs i fall in love with them.

We have excitement, danger, action packed scenes and beautiful romantic sensual love scenes.

This is the story of Luke Paulsen - A gorgeous, courageous SEAL who has had to suffer extreme heartache and ongoing PTSD. At a low ebb he meets the beautiful Julie

With their instant attraction and the ups and downs of coping with modern living these two people have to find a happy medium. You really start to care for both Luke and Julie.
This was a very hot sensual romance which i enjoyed reading so much.

We have most of SEAL team 3 gorgeous SEALs and their wonderful interaction. Ah these SEALs just get better and better.

Sharon Hamilton's sensible and sensitive protrayal of the consquences of service personnel returning from combat with PTSD was a very interesting part of the story line.

With heart and soul, Sharon Hamilton's stories never fail. Each one distinctive but the team is still has their six. Luke deals with his demons yet learns to love and trust despite the demons.

HASH(0xa1e0fb04) out of 5 stars Pretty darned good June 4 2014

Another good one by Hamilton.

Luke Paulsen is a member of SEAL Team 3. He's a transfer from the East Coast.

Luke is having problems with PTSD.

Luke lost a marine on an Op. Paulsen was the only SEAL there. He was holding the fort along with some marines. The rest of the team were completing their end of the Op.

Luke and a marine named Carson came under fire. Carson was killed and Luke killed his killer. Luke thinks Carson's death was his fault. His PTSD probably has something to do with that.

Paulsen is also toting the baggage of his finace's death. She was killed in an auto accident in Forida. He was the one who fell asleep at the wheel and his pregnant fiance was the only fatallity. In short Paulsen's a mess.

Luke is already seeing a couselor and is touch with his LPO Kyle Lansdown. He's being up front with all of them and keeping them in the loop about his mental state.

His teammates know his problems and are doing their best to help him deal.

Luke's currently sitting on a beach in San Diego. He's in San Diego to attend the wedding of his friend Colin Christensen. Luke's just sitting and thinking his dark thoughts. That is until a beautiful brunette and a beautiful blonde walk by.

The brunette decides Luke looks like he needs a friend.

So begins one damned fine read.

This one has Luke, Julie, a wedding, Luke's teammates, Luke's PTSD, a psycho killer, murder, a kidnapping, a deployment, and Julie and Luke having a go at love and life.

Just a great read.

Five Stars and then some.

HASH(0xa1dfceb8) out of 5 stars Not as good as other books in this series Nov. 16 2014

I was rather disappointed with this book. There were a lot of typos and at one point the Dr is a her and then later him. Many times I had to reread for understanding which I don't mind if the book is free, but this one was not free. I will continue this series with the hope that this book was just a fluke in the series. Story was good but not great and I had many problems with becoming engaged in the story.
