It took me perhaps five minutes to install it on my LX277. I had to use a pocket knife to shave a little plastic from the edges of the hole for the dead man switch but other than that very minor adjustment it was a perfect fit.

The seat arrived on time and was exactly as advertised. It fits and sits comfortably. The only thing that concerns me is that it is made by the same company as the one that I'm replacing. The old one "delaminated - the vinyl/foam piece came loose from the hard plastic frame. All in perfect condition, but now in two pieces.

Very happy with my new seat! Before buying, l looked into replacing my broken seat with a factory original. It was way more expensive than I was willing to pay for my 16 year old John Deere. So, I figured I'd give this one a try. So far, so good. It lacks the John Deere emblm on the back and the texture is less grained, but the seat feels and looks good.
