What are readers saying about this action-packed series?
--I hope the series within the series never ends: Sodium, AMP, Omega are a trilogy of not one, not two, but 22 page turners. Great writing; thoughtful and suspenseful. There are so many great books and authors; Arseneault shares the top end of my list.--
--After reading 4 chapter's I was hooked, even finished it in a day.--
--Please write more. I would stay in this series forever if you wrote them forever.--

The first chapter was strange in that there was no dialogue. Nor was there filling in of details to set a scene. e.g. I walked to the creek, the water was cold. After a minute it was ok.
By page 84 of no dialogue, I had zero investment in any of the characters and hoped they would start dying. I doubt even that would have been interesting.
What broke me was the lines where: Bull went to observe the aliens. I decided to go back down to the creek to catch a fish....
Sorry, but the chance to observe aliens trumps fishing with no bloody fishing rod...
The narrator was supposed to have ODD but I know folk with OCD and this didn't have it. He was just weird.
I gave up at page 84 and decided to find a better book. Any book. 52 Things To Do While You Poo was handiest...
I hate giving 1 star reviews, as effort went into writing it, but the book was kak. It was written in the manner I would expect a young teenager to own a story. With no attention to detail and trying to explain situation after the event. e.g. I decided to pick some gooseberries. I had been shown earlier which berries were good to eat. With zero mention of berries previously.
Sorry, but all the other reviews aside, there are much better books out there.

I finished this book quickly as I was always too eager to see what would happen next.
Highly enjoyable.
For those who like space battles Etc, this is not for you. It's set in the woods for the majority of the time.
