Although I can't personally relate to spending hours and hours of time: texting, tweeting, playing online games...and don't have any children of my own, that do; this was still an interesting book to read and an eye-opener too. To think that the average teen now spends 7+ hours online every day, is rather sad to consider. And that for a lot of kids, their online "relationships" take priority over the people they know in real life. I'm all for the good things that come along with the Internet and technology and there are lots of those that we wouldn't want to live without. But it is still a "cyber-world" online and people online are not always what they seem to be either.
I'm taking off one star as the book did get a bit repetitious at times, to the point that I was skimming through some of the text. But overall, an informative and interesting book that should be of particular interest to parents.
