This topic makes sense. It is definitely a paradigm shift from work safety to safely working. This book leads the entry to the experienced person through creating a culture that embraces the Safe 6 system. This system is simple, sensible, and easy to use from everyday life to work. Acronyms were used when needed to get he points across but not too heavy to need a dictionary to remember what they stood for. The analogies were helpful in getting the main points across.
The book format was easy to read and was laid out very well. Bullet points, bolded words, and numbering made key information stand out. Logos and the SW6 Pack logo noted what information was important. Using QRC codes brought reams of information to my fingertips without making this book a novel. The charts and website addresses were very helpful.
This system can be incorporated into the most complex work environment to the simplest. I started using it while on vacation at home in the simplest tasks and plan on incorporating it into my occupation. The author through this book shows how safety isn’t a puzzle through systematically putting the simple pieces together to prevent injuries and saving lives.
