I experienced a new definition of "working out-of-the-box". I plugged the USB Cable that I ordered separately, as it doesn't come with one, into my 2 Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit and the drivers were automatically installed into my laptops. I am still running with the cartridge that came with the printer. I am a light user and print maybe 5 to 10 pages per day.
I waited 3 weeks for this to come and didn't regret the wait considering that the price of the new cartridge was twice as much the printer itself.
This printer is small and the drivers work perfect with Win7 64 bit.
It can do manual double-sided printing, which is a great way to save paper.
Also has a toner saving setting that makes light print on the paper - great for rough copies.
Remember that it Does Not come with the USB printer cable(type A male to type B male), you need to buy one. Get the cheapest one available, you don't need a high quality one.
I definitely recommend this printer.
