San Francisco Travel Guide (Unanchor) - 2-Day Highlights Itinerary
See San Francisco from a local's point of view. We show you the well known sights but also help you not miss seeing the hidden sights.

What highlights will you see in San Francisco?

Fisherman’s Wharf
You can’t go to San Francisco without passing through the Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. But when’s the best time to go? Where can you find the best clam chowder? Did you know there’s a free museum with functional video game arcades from the 1800’s?

San Francisco has the largest Chinatown outside of Asia and it’s intimidating! Get a detailed walking tour showing hidden, unmarked temples, “Hole-in-the-wall” restaurants, a fortune cookie factory down a small alley, a public bathroom (a true rarity in San Francisco) and a whole lot more.

The Mission
San Francisco locals will tell you that their favorite place in the city is the Mission neighborhood, yet most tourists never even get there! You’ll have a full walking tour with this itinerary. Fun Fact: Did you know the oldest building in San Francisco is in the Mission? Find out more about it as well as see the famous & impressive murals, find out where an amazing free view of the San Francisco skyline is and most importantly, find out where the best Mexican food is in the city.

This is just the beginning! There are 1-3 hour walking tours of the following San Francisco neighborhoods:
- Union Square
- Chinatown
- Haight Street
- Golden Gate Bridge
- Fisherman's Wharf
- Golden Gate Park
- The Castro
- The Mission

What is an Unanchor travel guide itinerary?

Each Unanchor travel guide is an itinerary curated by a local and includes a detailed planned timeline of sights to go see, maps & directions between each sight, as well as insider tips. The research work is literally already done for you. You just grab the guide and go start exploring now. No need to spend hours of time opening dozens of websites or getting buried under a pile of guidebooks and maps. It's like having a personal tour guide in your pocket but with the freedom to deviate from the plan and without the cost!

What does your San Francisco itinerary include?

- A prioritized timeline of sights hand picked by a local.
- A 2-day step-by-step tour of San Francisco's neighborhoods.
- Detailed navigation information with maps & directions to guide you easily from place to place.
- Beautiful photographs of key sights so you know you're in the correct place.
- Tips on when (and when not) to go to sights.
- Dining, shopping, and sightseeing suggestions -- meaning less time spent searching and more time spent doing!

Are you right for this San Francisco itinerary?

If it’s your first time in San Francisco, California. You want to do the “must-see” activities but want to get that true local view of the city that most tourists miss - we will help you.

Or, if you’ve been to (or even live in) San Francisco but have never really SEEN San Francisco, it’s time to go beyond the seals on the Wharf, Alcatraz, and Lombard Street.

If either of these describes you, then this 2-day San Francisco travel guide itinerary is for you! Whoever you are, you’ll see the highlights of San Francisco, but from a local’s eye.

Why should you buy this San Francisco guide?

This guide will take the effort out of your San Francisco route planning, leaving you free to focus on the amazing sights that will make this a trip to remember!

At $3.99, the itinerary will pay for itself the first time you follow the advice on dining and traveling destinations. If you are unhappy with the itinerary for any reason, Amazon provides a full refund. What are waiting for, get this guide and go explore San Francisco!

HASH(0xb3c79c54) out of 5 stars Very Good Guide for Out of Town Visitors July 12 2012

My wife's cousin recently graduated college and decided to come and see us in the Bay Area. Knowing that she was bringing two friends from Boston who had never been to SF, we downloaded the SF Travel Guide and they had two full days of fun exploring the sights. Very helpful and much better than us simply giving them a bullitized list of sights to see as we have done in the past. Thanks Unanchor!
