When the memory card arrived it wasn’t in the usual SanDisk cardboard packaging, it was in a simple clear and white plastic envelope. This got me wondering if it is a legitimate card so I contacted the manufacturer. They requested closeup front and back photos of the memory card so I emailed them. Their response was this is not an authentic SanDisk product and advised me to get my money refunded.
SanDisk makes a reliable product but if you are using a fake card it will fail at some point and you will lose your photos. Buy at your own risk.

I put one star for the rating not because of the quality of the SANDISK card I expect to be very good but because buying this product you can receive not a genuine SANDISK but a fake card with disastrous performances. Check the pictures I join to this comment when you received the product. The performances of the real SANDISK card are around 80MB/s Read and Write whereas the fake card does around 15MB/s for reading and 5 MB/s for writing !!!
So first thing to do is to check the packaging then the color of the lock tab: if it is yellow it is a fake. Then perform a test of the performances of the card and you will know !!! ask for an change of a refund immediately if it is a fake.
It is the first time it happens to me buying a product that is ships and SOLD by Amazon !
Amazon, please check your products before selling them ^^

15/Oct/2018: Update: Bought one more card. I see that some people have issues with counterfeit cards. I choose have bought few cards from Amazon and I always chosen card that was “Ship and sold by Amazon”. I have attached few photos of packaging to show how genuine product looks like. You can also go to Sandisk website and use “chat” feature and provide the serial number to them and they will instantly tell if card is genuine.

I am photography enthusiast and I have always relied on SanDisk CF and SD cards to use with my high end cameras. In my past 10 years of professional or semi-professional usage, they have never failed and they come with Lifetime Warranty. With camera manufacturers pumping in more an more megapixels on their sensors, size of my RAW files are getting bigger, 32 GB which was considered sufficient few years back will fill out now quite quickly. If you are buying this card I would recommend to go with 128 GB.

While I am using Sandisk Extreme Pro CF cards for my full-frame digital cameras, I was looking for similar excellent cards for my advanced compact cameras (Canon G7X II and Sony RX100 V) and with 90 Mbps write speed, this cards perfectly fits my requirements. I have yet to come across a situation where I could not get the shot due to limitation of card speed. Read speed of 95 Mbps combined with USB 3 port is sufficient for speedy transfers. It was quite fast transferring images to my iMac at the end of the day and the capacity is huge. I never came close to filling the card during a full day shoot. If you read reviews on various professional testing sites, they are most reliable and consistent in terms of claimed speed as well as in terms of performance and quality.

I have tried these cards in extreme environments such as – 20 Deg C, very hot days as well as at high speed continuous shooting and they does not fail. Full HD or 4K videos is not a problem at all. I like the fact that they are shockproof, temperature-proof, waterproof and x-ray-proof. RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software is included and I have never had to use it.

Some of the highlights of this card are:

Test Speeds CAREFULLY Before Giving This A Bad Rating!

I was questioning getting this product after seeing both stellar reviews and some one or two star reviews stating that this was a fake product with lower than advertised speeds. To anyone debating this, just buy it, I'll tell you why.

My SD card came in a brand new sealed box. The locking tab was gray, not yellow like some of the photos show, so I don't know about the yellow tab versions.

I tested my SD card on my deskop and laptop and got speeds of around 25 to 28 MB/s which was obviously cause for concern since the rated speed is 95 MB/s. However, when I inspected the SD card reader on both my desktop and laptop, I noticed it was based on USB 2.0 hardware. What does that mean? It means that you will hit a certain speed limit when using this card through a USB 2.0 SD card reader, whether it is on your computer, laptop, or if it is an external card reader.

To test this card properly, you need to get an SD card reader that is rated for USB 3.0. In addition to getting a USB 3.0 card reader, you must ensure that your computer or laptop has a USB 3.0 port to insert the card reader into. USB 3.0 ports are blue colored and USB 2.0 ports are black colored.

I inserted this SD card into the USB 3.0 card reader, ran my speed test and got rates between 78 to 84 MB/s. Not exactly the 95 MB/s, but keep in mind that many factors affect the speed you will achieve. This is going to work great in my digital camera for 4K video and shooting raw.

Before you give it a One Star rating, be sure to test it properly with a USB 3 card reader connected to a USB 3 port on your computer or laptop.

Can't fault this card in any way. Got two of them in my D750 set them and forget I even have them in. And that's the best thing a memory card can do: disappear, get out of the way and do its job quickly, reliably, without any fuss. I'll also mention the recovery software that comes with it as it works well on any cards. It helped me save some of my friends corrupted non brand cards.
It might be a bit slow for video, but I'm only using them for stills so I can't really comment on that aspect.
In my many years of wedding photography I never had a single failure using Sandisk's (or Lexar's for that matter) pro line of cards. Recommended!

Received a counterfeit card. Speeds were ~11MB/s write/read nowhere near advertised and widely tested ~90MB/s. Checked on two laptops, my old Sandisk Ultra 80MB/s runs at ~30MB/s write & ~50MB/s read (well I don't have the fastest reader on the planet, but it's not an excuse for 11MB/s).

Tested both on synthetic tests and real life tests.

Print quality of the label and font details looked rather dodgy at times. Returned.

WELCHE SD-KARTE SOLL ICH KAUFEN? EXTREME PRO ODER ULTRA?

Vor dem Kauf stand ich wie viele von euch mit der Frage konfrontiert „SanDisk Extreme PRO mit bis zu 95MB/s oder reicht mir auch die günstigere Ultra mit 80MB/s“ ?
Es handelt sich hierbei bei beiden Karten um SDXC-Karten, der Speed Class 10, d.h. die Mindestschreibgeschwindigkeit beträgt bei der Ultra (U1) 10 MB/s und bei Extreme PRO (U3) 30MB/s.
Allgemein wird die Ultra für Full HD (1080p) empfohlen, ab 4K die Extreme Pro.
Meine 24MP SLR-Kamera schafft bis zu 6.8 Bilder pro Sekunde. Ein JPEG Bild ist im Schnitt 13 MB groß, RAW Dateien etwa 28 MB. Ohne zu rechnen, wird einem klar, dass hier bei JPEG und RAW Speicherung eine sehr hohe Datenmenge vom Zwischenspeicher auf die SD-Karte in kurzer Zeit transportiert werden muss. Bei hohen Datenraten kann bei Full HD mit 60 Bildern pro Sekunde schon 10MB/s grenzwertig sein. Wer Videos mit 4k Auslösung dreht, der muss unbedingt die Extreme PRO mit mindestens 30MB/s einsetzen.
Daher ist die Schreibgeschwindigkeit der SD Karte von viel größerem Interesse als die Lesegeschwindigkeit. Ich habe in meinem Besitz sowohl die SanDisk Ultra als auch die Extreme Pro und habe die Geschwindigkeiten mit einem USB 3.0 SD-Kartenlesegerät auf einem sehr schnellen Computer zum Vergleich getestet. Falls ihr eure gekauften Karten auch testen wollt, bedenkt bitte, dass die internen Kartenlesegeräte von Laptops häufig nicht so schnell sind, wie ein externer USB 3.0 Hub (max 300 MB/s!)
Zur Performance mit SLR-Kameras habe ich einen Test mit Paketgrößen von 50 MiB bis 1GiB mit der SanDisk Ultra und Extreme Pro durchgeführt.

PRAXISTEST SanDisk (U3) Extreme PRO (bis zu 95MB/s) 128 GB
Sequentielle Lesegeschwindigkeiten nach Q32T1 liefern im Schnitt 90 MB/s und die Schreibgeschwindigkeiten betragen 85.51 MB/s.
Bei einer Testgröße von 500 MiB performt meine Extreme Pro sogar mit READ 95 MB/s und WRITE mit 89 MB/s.
Somit liefert meine vorliegende ExtremePro eine höhere Schreibgeschwindigkeit, als mit mind. 30 MB/s nach (U3) garantiert wird.
Perfektes Ergebnis!

PRAXISTEST SanDisk (U1) Ultra (bis zu 85MB/s) 128 GB

Sequentielle Lesegeschwindigkeiten nach Q32T1 liefern im Schnitt 41 MB/s und die Schreibgeschwindigkeiten betragen 30 MB/s.
Bei einer Testgröße von 500 MiB performt meine Ultra mit READ 41 MB/s und WRITE mit 38,16 MB/s, schafft aber bei Testgrößen von 50MiB nur 25,61 MB/s und bei 1GiB 27.04 MB/s. Somit liefert meine vorliegende Ultra eine höhere Schreibgeschwindigkeit, als mit mind. 10 MB/s nach (U1) garantiert wird. Enttäuschend, dass mit einer Lesegeschwindigkeit von nur 40MB/s, gerade mal nur 50% der Lesegeschwindigkeit von der Herstellerangabe erreicht wird.
Ich habe aber in der Vergangenheit auch schon SanDisk Ultra Karten getestet, die gerade knapp über die 10MB/s in der Schreibgeschwindigkeit nur liegen.

TEST SanDisk (U3) Extreme Pro auf Fehler mit H2Testw
Es wurden keine Fehler auf der SD-Karte gefunden. Der Schreibtest betrug 1h bei einer mittleren Lesegeschwindigkeit von 33,1Mbyte/s, die Prüfung (Lesen) dauerte 24min bei mittleren 82,8 Mbyte/s. Es wurden 121909 MByte getestet.

VERGLEICH UND FAZIT

Die Testergebnisse zeigen, dass die Testergebnisse der Extreme Pro deutlich näher an den versprochen Herstellerangeben liegen, als bei der Ultra. Wenn Ihr 4k Videos drehen wollt, dann greift auf jedenfall zur ExtremePro. Für Full HD mag die Ultra ausreichend sein, aber wenn ihr so wie ich bereits Geld für eine hochwertige Spiegelreflex ausgegeben habt, dann empfehle ich ebenfalls eine Extreme Pro einzusetzen. Ich habe starke Schwankungen beim Test mehrerer Ultra SD Karten festgestellt, somit bin ich davon überzeugt, dass die Extreme Pro deutlich besser ist.
Zudem seid ihr dann auf der sicheren Seite und für die Zukunft gerüstet, falls ihr doch nochmal eine 4k Kamera anschafft. Eine sogenannte „Montag“ Ultra SD Karte, die gerade so über die 10MB/s schafft, bremsen eure Performance bei schnellen Serienaufnahmen bei RAW Format und eventuell auch bei Full HD unnötig aus.

Liebe Leser, diese Rezension ist keine Werbung, sondern ich bin selbst ein Hobby Fotograf und Technik affin. Da ich das optimale aus meiner Kamera herausholen möchte, habe ich mich intensiv mit der Thematik beschäftigt und teile diese Erfahrungen. Es ist dennoch zeit intensiv, die Ergebnisse aufzubereiten und dahinter steckt viel Mühe. I've always purchased SanDisk cards, mainly for their reliability and reputation as leaders in flash memory products. I've encountered numerous issues with other manufacturers which has resulted in me losing valuable data (read and write errors + formatting issues). Surprisingly not a single SanDisk card has let me down and for this reason, all my cards are SanDisk.

This particular product is the Extreme Pro version of SanDisk's ever popular card. I purchased this card specifically to use on my Canon EOS 77D and it is perfect. I use my camera for fast burst photography and the results are stunning. Having purchased the 256GB version, I no longer have to worry about running out of space. It's more an issue now of remembering to back up my files should the worse ever happen.

Most of you will be wondering how it performs in read and write tests. After carrying out extensive research, I'm pleased to say these cards are currently (July 2018) the fastest available SDXC cards for this capacity. It might not be the cheapest card, or cheapest flash memory manufacturer. But make no mistake, SanDisk know what they are doing. Just make sure you purchase a genuine card and not that cheap junk with a SanDisk label on it.

With that being said, I have no hesitation in recommending this card for any technology enthusiast.

全く同一の256GBのメモリーカードを二品購入。
使用を試みたところ一方は問題なく使えているのですが、片方がエラーが出て使用できませんでした。
読み込みデバイスにも問題がないか確認してみましたが他のデバイスでも同じ結果でした。
同一商品で振る舞いに差異が出ていたため、不良品と確信し返品手続きを行いました。
しかし販売会社の持ってるPCでは問題なく使えるので問題ないと、返品を受け入れず。

ちなみにこの商品UHS-I対応ですので、読み込みデバイスによっては原因が表面化しない可能性があります。また、全ブロックに異常がないかの検査やSDカードの全拡張ファンクションが正常に動作するなど、販売会社がチェックしてるとは思えない。
本来であれば不良品かどうかは製造元に送らなければわからないはず。それなのに終始不具合品ではないの一点張り。
（不具合があるなら客側で証明しろとか、、、)
